Long trade, NZD/CAD 4 H. Arrow shows a big bull bar. After close of the candel, I put a buy limit order to 50 % pullback of the green candel. It was trigerd.
I am in green. The trade was also supported by the D Chart long trand.

I've just re-read my safety checklist (see post #8). It's still so applicable and uncomplicated, yet in the heat of battle I tend to forget it. Here's to a week of safe trading.

H4 is sitting on local support and should it break below that it might be a good opportunity. However, the daily doesn't look bearish enough, even though there is a big lower high. That pole and pennant formation could even mean a break upward once it breaks out of the pennant / wedge.

This USDCHF trade was stopped out when price burst up last week (about 5 or 6 candles back). I entered higher up and it is in profit at the moment.

Nice buy, porfirio. The trend is up on H4 and D1. I marked the H4 chart with where your entry would have been. I like that you bought close to the EMAs, which means a correction back to the EMAs is less likely. The only problem I can see is that there is a D1 resistance level about 60 pips above the entry. This might be a good place to take profit. Next time could you also post a chart? Thanks.

My second attempt at going short here has also not been all that successful. At least it wasn't stopped out. I followed my usual "evasive action" procedure when I saw that price was going the wrong way. At about 50% of the way up I closed 25% of the lot size for this trade, then later 25% of the remaining amount. So now I have enough left to regain some of those losses but with reduced risk. All of this time the overall structure was bearish so I stayed in and trusted the system.

Unfortunately that initial push down created a higher low and confirmed the bullish trendline, so I moved my TP up just inside the TL to catch as much of that profit as possible. But I might just close manually anyway and get out while I can. I will end up with just a small loss if price gets to the new target.

I'm sorry, Alister, I don't know how to publish graphics with the tablet. I entered h1 and made a profitable entry with my strategy that is similar to yours

I placed this EURAUD trade late yesterday when I saw the bearish pinbar rejecting the EMAs. It's now at B/E.

One question: given the resistance EURAUD faces why wasn't AUDUSD the better choice?
