Asia trading is over, be back for London and see what they offer anew .
Music, now lol
Sometimes a track gets left lying on the cutting room floor when an album is finally decided.
Sometimes those tracks are also very interesting, a bit like a different version of the same song done maybe in a live concert.
These two are studio tracks though.
The "Take Five" was one such song left behind on the floor, but is still worth a listen imho, with the drumming more conventional, and especially for Jeff Labes contribution on piano, whcih was far more prominent, and again for John Platania doing some nice licks on lead guitar which were left out completely on the album version in preference to Jack Shrorer's (wonderful) sax work.
Come Running (Take Five) - Van Morrison
Inserted Video
and, with the drumming more on the back-beat here Come Running (Moondance Album version)
Just one more from Van for the week lol, from the terrific imo Beautiful Vision album.
The gals Bianca Thornton, Annie Stocking & Pauline Lozana on back up vocals
And Sean Folsom playing on the national pipes of ireland, the Uilleann Pipes.
