You may very well be right.
On the attached chart you can see that the 61.8% Fib retracement from the 1.0481 bottom to the Shark top projected at 1.0744, falls exactly on a strong Support/Resistance level at 1.0581 (Pink line).

Price has hit a level reasonable for profit taking, so I closed one long at 1.0732, opened since 0.9837, for 840 pips gain. I'm still holding 8 active long positions.

Now, there're several things at play here into January. I'm just not convienced Euro can take a leap up, before Fed and ECB on Feb 1 & 2. That rate hike thing is now a done deal. With market expecting a smaller 25 bps, there's no surprise dollar may tank in coming days, as market continues to reposition their bets. That doesn't mean Euro can spike with any resistance, since ECB might "synchronise" their hikes with major central banks, like the Fed. On price wise, that bounce off 50% Fib seemed brutal, so to speak.

Let's just put our assumption this way: Euro can spike, but not too high. Euro can dip, but shorting anything now is rather risky to me.

0760s high rejection in June right before the vertiginous drop, yes, the one it never came back from, up to now

So, when a 15m hits 0755 and closes, I place trailing SL from that 15m low -1. Any higher 15m low(-1) after that is new SL.

TP is 0780 (see previous posts for the reason).

no doubt it gone to the extreme side , may need review again!! usdx to down ok but may not tanking so unstoppable and extreme US recession ensuing ! lets see

just rechecking pa , ok extreme but not any enough yet , now signal 0699 for next limit for bull next goes to 0630. so can wait enough before next decision , 0630 hld or not !
