happy new year 2023 to all , wish it bring you all happiness and prosperity !
anyway as now to look into the 2023 year basis , having last year long leg doji , so bullish and and again burst down NR7 and so most probably a yearly doji having pressure still down if all condition as per last year continue and be most tough year to play arrounds .
now as bull at its best overcoming any correction year end , may try further up for 0735 break , if ok then next target 0786 and pullback 0850+ , if not 1120 limit test before back below 0222 so 625 pips apparently minimum range yearly . This month can be most top ranging type . Take care

forget the yearly , now again come to daily or weekly basis, with or with any correction top ranging still very intact and now immediate target goes to 0735 test , break or not ! and as one last leg up running , smallest to big ones , immediate support goes to 0662 and 0640 last . lets see how this leg up play now . take care

Just minute after i posted we bounced off from support area.

am not sure if we can go lower as bull has taken down 0700 last Frday and 0800 is just miles away if 0738 last high taken down.

another level under 0663 is still 0640 which has been key area for quite some time last week.

Meanwhile, on H4...

The new ear started with bears but please notice that we are still inside a bullish pitchfork channel and without a breakout down, bears can not have continuation.. Bears have been stopped at the lower edge of this channel: 1.0664!

That said, 1.0681 area could begin to help bears and therefore we must watch if candles can stay below and later if they can break out of channel.. Time will tell..

Not trading today as my broker is having huge spreads that is not tradeable and better to avoid illiquid market.

As today is not last trading day whole year is ahead of us.

After a recent bounce up, I'm considering selling the highs, that is about 35 pips (from 1.06900) distance to my target. Thus, I am interested either in 1.06550 or 1.06560 as my TP ---just above the weekly VWAP

Sure, you can have various levels as resistance based on timeframe or overall view.. I am focusing more on the "average" swing area that will later help me to see if bears really kicked in..

For now, what I focus most is that bulls have the upper hand since we are still inside my pitchfork channel! In other words: I focus more on support level: 1.0664! (Once the current H4 candle closes -in an hour-, pitchfork support will shift to 1.0669)

Hey and Happy New Year to all EURUSD traders!

I'm new here (but not new to trading) and been following this thread for some time and i have a question: Why are you all shorting this pair all the time?

Retail sentiment is also crowded in shorts (see chart), so all the stops that banks target are on the upside.

Also, the yield differences between US and Germany (i use 2 year yields mostly) have been favouring EUR, too.

Any explanation is welcomed.

The daily chart is in sync with H4 and here too we can see that candles are still inside my pitchfork channel...

I suggest that you mark 1.0664 area as your main support and don't invest too much in selling! For me, currently only scalping both sides!

*But remember, based on weekly resistance, I will try to sell the potential big spikes and bullish rallies as soon as I see bull power fading.

Now... the postion I am in.

After Frankfurt FX Fixings arrive... and I've been in the negative for 15 minutes... Then I'll just close the trade.

By the way... based on M30 I have 1.0688 as resistance... Very similar to yours.. but again this is the M30..
