I've been following KoF for many years now and I'm convinced that his strategy works and this thread is a great morale booster. At the very beginning, I really didn't know if he was a hustler or not, the only thing that made me say no was the fact that he was doing live games regularly and that he never lost! That's what kept me hoping. So for several years now I have devoted my days to trying to practice straigy and especially trying to find a way not to get "stuck"...

Is not my arrow sitting on a resistance beginning from the high on the left of my arrow?
What makes a support /resistance for you since I see other such levels on your chart?

your arrow is above the MAs and since this is a counter trend strategy, the MAs imply a Buy even with a few red candles as a minor pullback. The support Box is way below your arrow implying again a Buy, so we wait for the market to his the resistance Box(es) as defined by my two arrows implying a future Sell.

I too was disappointed with the 1% strategy and even went through learning to program EA's only to see it fail backtests and front tests and drain real dollars from my account. Well at least I am not the only one that went through all of that. I am feeling a lot more confident with the EMA strategy though. If it keeps going well with manual trading I might start programming an EA for the EMA strategy as well. If the KOF's EMA strategy ends up being what makes me a consistently profitable trader I really have no reason to be sour about the 1% not working for me.

I bought the 1% strategy and was disappointed after working with it intensely for a month and even programming an EA to run it perfectly.
Backtests failed. All of KOF's videos he uses the EMA Counter trend strategy we are discussing here.

Like CPFLEGER, i have my own version. I happy to take losses. always think if you was trading a £500,000 account. The two losses on AUD/USD was a capital recovery trade. opening postions to recoup the losses on bad entries and come out with slight profit on trade. Dont be trigger happy with postions. Because you wil need to send in extra soliders to help with troops in trouble. Dont be greedy. Wait for the best set-ups.
Counter-trending can be lethal in the wrong hands. So having a strategy for capital perservation is just as important to making money
