zig zag pip counter number (paint at the top and bottom) and there is a live number to the right of the candle that measures the distance, see my last screenprint.

I prefer my black one mostly because of my own ignorance about HA candles and not wanting so much bright white light to stare at being a little easier on my eyes.
I need to go learn about the HA candles I will work on that this weekend they seems to work in a wacky way I just don't get.
Thanks again for sharing everything. I feel like I should make you a rocket nozzle or something cool if this keeps working out for me this well.

josh1111,
loads of yourube videos but in simple terms;
- double wicked HA Candles are Indecisive Candle (no clear direction - up or down)
- one wicked HA Candles are Momentum (Money) Candles and are your friends
if you zoom inwards and look at each candle after the 9 EMA elbow (hook) and see the one wicked candles as the entry candles without any other Indicators you are ahead of the other Traders. I learned back in 2007 using Synergy System (APB Candles).
- another trick is the length of the candle Box, when its lon it saying to you there is alot of money here inside this Candle, when its starts to shorten in length its loosing money and may be reversing.
so on lower TF's I use the 3 candle Rule as we are not intraday or swing trading with the trend but counter trend trading (when you start seeing one wicked candles you will see on the Average 3 One Wick Candles will be consistent and these become your money candles).
Add my last Indicator to both Templates.

Thanks for the run down cpfleger. I will study them more this weekend. As far as I know I am already running the zigzag indicator perhaps I have some setting wrong? It seems to label numbers at the peaks.

Hello Traders,
Here are my trades from today. I'm usually in meetings most of my day. I am located in the California, so my trading times are random, sometimes late at night 9pm to 1 am and I work from 8 to 5 and I have 3 kids to get to and from school.. So i trade when I get the time. I look at the charts everyday, sometimes, most days I get to trade other times I do not. Here are my trades today. Some trades I had to exit earlier than I wanted because of an upcoming meeting for work.

Hopefully, you can see the entries and exits with the dark background.

I've never took the time to understand HA candles. Very interesting how you can really see when the trend is lossing momentum and the trend is starting to turn. I'm so used to looking at the body of the candles and how they move throughout the chart.

I'm going to look at both the HA candles and the regular candles simultaneously.

There is no such thing as the best, each Trader has different view so how can their be a Best.
Put both HA Candles and Candlestick on the same pair and TF and let the decision be yours.

BTCUSD 1min.. sell every current candle higher then prev candle high... take profit as soon as possible.

As my friend cpfleger said, there is no such thing as "best". HA candles are good for reducing noise in exchange of a bit of lag. It's also a good tool to measure momentum (look for the single wick candles):

Nice trades my friend. What indicators are you using for support and resistance? (the little dots).

I note this bug in my template as well! Don't know what's causing it.

Are you referring to the image below with the green arrows? If so, they are from a paid indicator. Its an indicator from a trading system call The binary destroyer. It is linked to my account number etc.. It places those arrows when a support or resistance has been identified in that location. It is not 100 right, so you will need to go to a higher timeframe 5min or 15 minutes to locate if there is a valid support or resistance. You may be able to see it on the 1min as well. It is just another indicator that helps out with my entry.
