In my humble opinion... while above 1.0625, selling is not an option...

Anyway, let's see how 1.0655 resistance area will react.. maybe there we can rethink about selling.. whenever you think of countertrading always go with patience and delays!

*By the way: if 1.0655 breaks we are next going to 1.0705....

i think today the price will drop... from my point of view first the price will go up then will drop. the bollinger bands are too close

1.0620 holded well and EU now is moving towards yesterdays high but needs to break above so it can complete the 58 pip range to 1.0677. A close below the high of the mornings range at 1.0642 may see it back or some pips lower to 1.0610/16.

For a reason I think so too, but first I want to see it testing that hourly high

On the weekly chart a noticed a confluence of resistance around 1.07. EUR upmove should be limited there imo.
What do you guys think. Sell at this point?

I keep buying dips because no signs of bears yet..

1.0655 is broken and now 1.0650 might turn into support based on the M15 chart! (Because pa is slow, I had to step down!)

You can not trade intraday by constantly opening the weekly... Stay in the now! But yes somewhere along the path bears will show.. but it is just wrong to constantly fear about will bears show up? should I sell?... Just enjoy the bull trend buddy!

We still have a couple hours to go until FOMC presser.

I'm more interested on Powell speaking than rate hike itself. I'll look into their summary of economic projection (SEP), to get an idea how many of them actually wanted lower rates. Unlike Yellen a known dove, Powell is a hawk, so to speak. I'll be looking if he gives a hint on further hawkishness into 2023. These are the clues:

1. On inflation subsiding: "we'll not take decision based on one or two data points"
2. On inflation also: "the job is not done, despite inflation showing sign of slowing down"

Let's take a look at where price could be well supported, on this bullish up move. My near target of 1.077 remains intact. On the first chart, I drew my Fib from the high of 1.148 on Feb 10, down to the dip at 0.955 on Sep 28. It was a seven-month bearish move in 2022. On this trend, price has retraced close to 61% level, and I expect further consolidation into the new year between levels of 38% and 61%, i.e. 1.027 and 1.077, giving us a good 500 points trading range.

We now have a move that I wouldn't say it's fully bullish or bearish short term. We had that move twice (I circled, marked them PP1, PP2). We could be seeing that pattern right in front of us again. Let's just wait for Powell and see how the market reacts. If I'm not forgotten (or mistaken), bonuses for dealers are due during first half of January. There'll be a plently lot of interest in getting US dollar for payouts. Who wants to get paid in any other currency besides USD?

Based on DAILY, I am marking 1.0636 as main support... While we are above it, the mid to long-term trend is bullish!

Based on M30, nearest support sits at 1.0646...

I am noticing earliest signs of bulls weakness... I am not talking about selling! Only little signs!

I am of the opinion that between today and tomorrow we have to go and get the liquidity formed between 1.053 and 1.056 before the FOMC. Do you think it's an affordable idea or is it just what I hope will happen?

The price is in a range. I think it will stay that way until the FOMC data. I don't want to tire myself out and I stay outside. Stay safe.

I have conflict on M30 vs M15... Therefore I wait on sidelines instead of buying this dip.. Little delay is better instead of blindly buying!

Based on M15 it is actually better to sell 1.0653 area... at least for some time trading mixed seems to be okay..
