This reversal pattern is working atm, there is also inverted H&S H1 chart. Bottom of right shoulder at 1.0489. Both point higher, challenging the highs is possible.
There I will be selling again if we reach 1.0632.

Kidding aside, bulls actually did reach the mid highs in my book, see 15min low shadows from 4 hours ago... From here, my long ranging strats need to tighten SL to last 1H low and/or get out some or all. If bulls keep it and bring a good 30min >0522, SL should be tightened up there, as I will be selling like a madman if it comes back down into the range.

I don't see big volumes coming in but many expiries that week are slowing down the proccess towards higher levels.

Percentage of traders net long and net short hasn't changed all that much. I think they're waiting to see which side retail traders will choose and then proceed accordingly.

Good intraday bulls profit here, well done to you ! Now it's probably mirroring time again, but if not, 1H low -1 SL is good ! 0522 SL if >0540, since a return <0520 from so high actually would take greater down volatility to be accomplished, hence my patience to sell more. but in 25min folks, my patience(reverse time average under these conditions if it is still stalling in 0520s or under) I sell like a madaman !

I convinced that I must see more sellers coming in but I may be wrong! Usually this happens when there are no news in the market and big events are happening later like ECB and FOMC next week.

The more and more I look at the price, the more I think Bulls are not over yet. I think one of the forecasts I had about price reaching 1.09 is still valid. Let's see next week first how the price will behave.

Powell is lucky so far with how the economy is still hanging on and is resisting to these rate hike shocks. We have that Final GDP report this Month still. Then we should take a nice break during Christmas and New Year and recharge ourselves for the upcoming new year of trading.

I think you're right. I was perhaps too confident in the return of USD this early.

Whatever is the case, next week we will see the price either at 1.09 or parity.

I have yet to see solid proof of retail traders' ratio having any impact on price movements. I am surprised that there is not a thread about that. Would be interesting ! I am more inclined to believe that retail trader's are nothing but a drop in the ocean. A too small a fish in a sea of fighting killer whales, sharks and other predators. I am probably wrong though, as it is just a hunch...
