DislikedMy initial view of GU as of now, 1. yesterday we had the first red day. (SB said not to trade against the 1st red day) 2. The down move started by taking the liquidity from the previous day's high and also it broke the Trend line. 3. It also took the previous day's low. 4. last 3 days, the price spent most of the time above the last week's high ( Trapped volume / SM filling shorts ???). 5. Even if it is a corrective move ( since the overall trend is bullish), we can expect the BC leg of possible ABC correction. 6. Potential target: it may test this...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Good analysis. The break of the trendline was fairly strong with the obligatory 50% retrace. Have no idea how much more, if any retrace. I am looking for possible shorts initially. As you say though. let price tell you where it is going.Ignored
My understanding is the 3 hours window consists of a pre-equity hour, equity hour, and post-equity hour. Am I missing something here ??
DislikedI am a bit confused regarding SB's window of time-related to ASIA. He mentioned 8 pm to 11 pm (NY time), however, the opening time of exchanges in Aus at 6 pm (NY) Tokyo at 7 pm (NY) Singapore, Hongkong, and China all open at 8 pm (NY) My understanding is the 3 hours window consists of a pre-equity hour, equity hour, and post-equity hour. He has not mentioned the times recently. His times were 8pm to 11pm EST.
That is late based on the equity open, I always assumed that was Tokyo. I have my box set to star at 0005 GMT/1905 EST. My preferences are based off SB and tweaked for when the spread normalizes.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi fxp, Mate different folk use different start times for their boxes (ESPECIALLY asia box, as London & New York are pretty well hard coded lol). Here's a time convertor from New York to Sydney which can be a guide depending on which state you are in here. (scroll down from the top for the hourly breakdowns) https://24timezones.com/difference/new_york/sydney So SB will start Asia at 6pm NY which would be 10am Sydney which IS Tokyo Open time. http://forex.timezoneconverter.com/i...stralia/Sydney; With...Ignored

Hi TT, Mate, I have gone thru all the timezone conversions already and eventually got more confused cuz SB mentioned several times and emphasized 8 PM to 11 PM (NY time). Anyhow, just for ASIA, I follow a 4-hour window that covers all the Aus, Tokyo, Singapore, China, and HK exchange open hour. So far it's working fine and the volume increase is quite noticeable during those 4 hours. I normally don't trade much during ASIA but still, it helps me to read the setup and train my eyes. CheersIgnored
Disliked{quote} Okay, I was thinking 6pm EST, sorry. Then 8pm EST is 12 noon Sydney (DST), which is two hours after Tokyo Open. Interesting. https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/est-to-australia-sydneyIgnored
DislikedExpansion of the session range is done, now time to move the ship around ?? next 1 hour will guide us, IMHO {image} AUD/USDIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi fxp, Can I ask what pair & timeframe your chart above is please, as it does not line up with my GU chart that I can see ? edit: sorry I see it below the chart now lol, AUIgnored
DislikedDoesn't help anyone I know, sorry, but just foolin around with some directional takes under the .750 All essentally were as scout trades with no immediate follow ups added, so I might call it a morning now on a Friday, and slip back in again for Franky-London. And see where they have moved it all (hopefully to a new structure area, where the search begins again). Was only dancing here, so nothing specific to follow. (okay just looked and the Day Ope seems of interest now lol, but I'm NOT trading hahaa, just watching now) . {image}Ignored
