AUDUSD is extremely bearish at the moment. Looking at W1 timeframe you can see a significantly strong support in Okt. 2008.
There is a sone between 0.6290 and 0.6030 which has been providing ag decent support during several months.

We are about 400 pips away from this sone and I would think that we may get there again. The Australian economy is not at its best for the time being nor is the Chinas economy. Besides Australia recently denied China a membership of the pact giving the pacific and Asian nation access to free market. This may additionally create severe problems for China which will result in problems for Australia as well.

The things are not looking good but unfortunately the market is not always rational and more often than not it does the opposite to our expectations.

If you are stuck with longs, then hedge. You should hedge to protect your account and then find a way to solve your hedges in profit. There is a lot of information on the internet where you can teach yourself how to solve hedges in profit. I cannot explain this with simple words. You need to search the internet and learn that. It is complicated, but absolutely not impossible.

Powell speaks and the USD drops, but 1-day doesn't make a trend change. Even 2 or 4 days won't turn this around; here is what I'm looking for, a real test of price action. A pullback to previous support at round number of 0.6700 which is also 61.8% Fibonacci level. It could get there in 2 days, which makes it the end of the month: any thoughts?

I don't do strict EW but I do see them from time to time, if you do, please share the project level for end of Wave 5.

Nice chart! I don’t know what kind of pullback this is. Maybe just some lucky people can take d advantage of this situation and get out of their stuck longs, but imho the trend down may continue for ate least 200-250 pips all according to my previous analysis:

After this is done, all technicals and fundamentals suggest a return to higher levels - probably 0.67xx.

PAN PAN PAN, the USD is not going to give up so easy, switch to Plan S - S for Sell, looks like the 9EMA short signals are good in downtrends, 10 minutes to 4H candle close

AUD/USD is fell sharply after the RBA chose to hike rates by 25bps. Following Governor Lowe's comments at the last meeting, there was an expectation that the RBA would begin to pivot to a slower pace of tightening in upcoming months, although one last 50bps at today's meeting was widely expected by markets.

All trading carries risk, and the pair does seem to be paring of some the losses already, but there is still a lot of key US data, including the NFP report, due this week, so volatility is likely to remain elevated.

AUD has been interest-bearing for the longest of time, I think hiking does very little to support the AUD, although a failure to hike indicates huge downside risk.

US Dollar strength yesterday took AUD/USD back to the bottom of the short-term range it seems to have established between 0.6400-0.6550. Today's NFP report may be key in whether we see the pair rally back towards the top of the range, or break below support to potentially start a new leg lower.

All trading carries risk, but it could be worth keeping this pair on the watchlist today and next week.

News that Chinese authorities will stick with their covid-zero policy is weighing on AUD/USD, down around 0.4% to start the week. This comes after rumours before the weekend of a possible reopening in China, as well as a strong pullback in the US Dollar, had fuelled the pair's outperformance on Friday.

Seems like AUD/USD has managed to find support around its weekly pivot point for the time being, which also sits just above the key 0.6400 level. All trading carries risk, but it will be interesting to see if it can continue hold this level over the course of the week, or if momentum swings back in favour of bears.
