we have resistance from .98700 to .99500 area

Posible bounces from the blue shadowed levels. The trades should be quick scalps with posible target the daily range - 85 pips. Bears can do the same in case of a broken support level. Good luck, use demo if you don't know what you are doing.

0.9879 is the decision point. EU should bounce and close above it or else it will continue down below it.

no fruitful wasting of time in sideways / top ranging for bull if actually was not strong enough while nominal 9898 remain intact, rather weak with times goes . so still waiting for 9756 test to decide for now bull! . now as chance take off below 9826 to 9803 , so watching actually old 9823 .lets see
in daily tf , bull is very intact and active , may retest 9810/03 or even turmoil to further down to 9756 all ok for bull favour !

Meanwhile, on H4...

  1. I am still expecting a short-term drop and retest towards wik-gap area, but my overall bias is slowly shifting to buying dips...
  2. In other words: first I stick to bears until retest of lows is complete and later, if support survives, I could try to buy dips to target back the levels where are we currently are.. Time will tell...
  3. Market seems to be getting comfy inside this range bound flow... Christmas laziness will come early this year I guess!

News I watch today are: EU German ifo Business Climate & US Consumer Confidence. Both have bad forecasts for their currencies. So we might be buying EURUSD later in the US unless things change.

Bei einem Bruch über 0,9900 könnte es weiter in Richtung 0,9947 und 0,9980 gehen. Darüber bei 1.000 die nächste Hürde.
Pullbacks finden kurzfristig Unterstützung bei 0,9845 - 0,9854. Darunter wäre ein weiterer Test des Unterstützungsbereichs bei 0,9806 möglich, kritisch wird es aber erst unterhalb von 0,9777.

That drop below 0.9855 created a new decision point at 0.9868 now.

Seems that we are going to see that weekly trendline sooner than later. A drop below 0.9853 changes that view. I think that the bulls just got lucky with that surprise on the German ifo release.

Bullish butterfly on 1month. But can still develop further up to the range 0.898 (Max butterfly). Which would be even more likely for me.

I hold my long position until shortly before the FOMC meeting. I want to see 0.9925 and 0.995 again. TP will be my entry. After that, I will sell again.
