Looks supported above 0.9824 for now. I'll wait to see an abrupt break down and then a reverse inside the range again (0.9824/9900). It might shoot up but needs to rise above 0.9862.

if to shoot up crazily then also breaks 9824 to do most probable and must over 9898 to secure , otherwise tank again . if 9824 breaks and hold then likly 75 pips below 9824 be target bear as projected hs smaller tf .lets see

My buy trades from 24 or so days ago still holding. A daily break and hold above 0.99000 for sure could put an end to this 10 month decline.

Meanwhile, on H4...

As I said last week, there is a little chance that this is going straight up without revisiting and properly retesting wick-gap: roughly 0.9705/55 area...

Therefore, I prefer to rely on 0.9863 resistance area for the next 4 to 8 hours and try to keep my bearish bias... To reach wick-gap area bears have to break 0.9790 first! That's my most crucial support area for today...

Hi Leon, would you still chase your bullish target till 1.07?
Honestly even if it's too bullish, but i don't think DXY would be weaken too much as EU's problem are worse unless Fed cut rates to below 1%.

82 pips achieved for the day from EU. Now two things left: one is EU going down to 0.9800/9780 and second EU is trying to break 0.9862 for third time to reach 0.9889.

0.9844 point will decide for both scenarios.

To start off. My trading is purely based on technicals. If I had to worry about fundamentals I would be too scared to trade. If we break that yearly trend line, would it not be logical to think, something is changing?
My targets are purely based on Fibs hence my 1.07583 target which is the 61.8% retrace of the yearly down move, but even that seems less likely with the year coming to an end, unless we have a nice x-mas rally.

Just went short now at 0.9831.

I sincerely don't know what that wicked rise on Friday was all about. However, since this sweet downtrend, whenever price rises like that in a single day, it comes crashing all the way down to the bottom.

Hoping it happens again!

These news will be out later at the US session for the US Dollar. Its forecasts are mixed and we have to wait to find out the real numbers. We are still above 0.9800/15.
