Then I switched over to trading on M1 and got a trade:

This is in the repainting mode.
You can see here, that I only got this trade because I switched over to M1 after the previous Sell signal.

Maybe its better to drop it there aint no point in using an indicator that will destroy account. Is it possible for the auto trend channel to also be repainting, if not can you help me with 2 issues its all about FRACTAL BREAKOUT STRATEGY which im also building up, the auto channel will play its role and one other indicator. however i have eventually come across the mq4 file for autotrend channel its own job is to inform me with alert like .......MARKET SLOPING DOWN.....MARKET SLOPING UP.......MARKET FLAT......the other indicator maybe a bit tricky but it may not be for you it needs only just 1 single arrow alert to confirm a breakout ABOVE or BELOW the fractal indicator.For a BUY confirmation the first breakout candle close above the last fractal....ENTRY is the next candle this is where the arrow signal appears reverse is the case for SELL scenario.Thanks so much for all the time and stress you have spent i wish you the best of advancement in coding , imagine that you just joined not long ago and you have done so much for everyone here in a short time .Thanks

Oh you have gone far on it , what can be done now?Do you figure it will perform better on 4hrs ? The only other observation is if time frames are changed the stronger the time frame the better check this screenshot out. Can EA work on higher time frames?

Man, I have already coded the EA for you and it is working properly!
Why are you even bothering me and wasting my time, if you don't know what you want?
There is no Holy Grail of Forex that will trade and make money for you!!!
Either take the EA or kindly stop bothering me and other coders!!!

This EA takes 1 trade per trading session, max 2 trading sessions per day.
The trader decides which hour is best for session start based on his experience and observations of the instrument.
The Trend Channel can be set to hours (again, the trader decides which trend he wants to trade), or alternatively, the Trend Channel can be plotted from the begining of the day.
The signals moving averages also can be set by the trader based on the observations of the specific instrument.
The Stop Loss can be fixed in points, or by scanning for High/Low over the specified number of candles.

YOU - THE TRADER - must adjust the conditions of your indicators and/or EA to the specific market YOU are trading. The indicator or EA can not adjust itself!!!

PS. The EA is self-contained, which means that it does not call on any external indicators.

Why period 80, specifically?
Why not 13, for example?

Thanks BEST well i have to try all i know, actually i love technicals thats why i use all these and they do work for me , if i may ask do you have some stuff that works personally for you? You do have a style that gives you what you need per day? You definitely must have, even a winning non repaint alert indicator and of course a supersonic EA that does all the job with ease isnt it? But those masterpiece aint gonna show up here yknow? Well you have given me the best of stuff i will follow thanks so much please do help to look into the breakout stuff and flush these ones down the drain .Truth is my two styles are swing and breakouts, trading those lower levels sometimes give me the creeps so i will rather stay on my normal course theres no point in dropping the ea here but earlier i have pm you i think a few days ago perhaps you can drop it in my mail so as not to mislead trader folks here. i want to modify news indicator in attachment...
I want it to take news info from "investing.com" and if possible i would to insert on it the possibility to stop autotrading "x" mins before news release and to start autotrading "x" mins after news release. The "x" parameters can be set by me.
If possible also in the graphic interface a column where is visible the news impact (low, medium, high).

Wrong, again!
I only use an EA which does the calculations for me.
I plot the trade levels (TP, SL, Entry) manually with my own tool, the tool calculates the Entry Price according to TP and SL and the defined RR ratio.
My job is then to press the Buy, or Sell button (optionally Limit or Stop) when/if the price is in the area where my RR is minimum 1:1.
If I have made a 1:1 trade, I have made a good deal, I have earned my Stop Loss.
If I have made less than 1:1, I have made a poor deal, because I have not earned my Stop Loss.
My EA calcuates the Lot according to my %Risk (it can also use the Kelly Criterion Risk Management).

Of course, you don't really need MN1 and W1 charts to trade M15 and lower.
You can make your own mini chart panel.

If you can't trade this with success, you have a lot to learn!
And by learn I don't mean any miracles, but to learn about yourself!

A setup like this should be sufficient to trade the M5 chart.

I have an EA that i have screwed up on somewhere, would it be possible for someone to have a look at it as it will not compile properly.

P.S. I am hoping to add indicators to this ea, but i wanted to make sure that it was working properly as i was going along.

One more thing, friend:
If you want to take, say $10 on a trade, your Stop Loss must be maximum at $-10, and your broker must guarantee that he will take no more than $-10. If your broker can't guarantee this, then yor SL must be less than $-10, and most likely it must be $-6. Can any signals from any non-repainting oscillator or any other non-repainting interpolating, doing shit whatever, give you such a consistent RR Ratio?
If you, or anyone has such a masterpiece, they must already be a USD billionaire!

You have your iCustom() messed up.

If you need the "replace the RSI with:" part, then you have a bigger problem, because then you need to input all the paramaters before this one, too. But, you don't need to input all the descriptive strings, because they do nothing, and you don't need to input all the colors and stuff that isn't used, you can input NULL in those slots.

i used a tdi indicator that was on this forum.
i have included the indicator that i used.
i used ea builder with this indicator, i am sure that is where i am going wrong.
i also probably should have said that i am not a coder.
I am learning slowly in between driving a truck and sleeping, haha

Yes, I know which indicator was used, because it says it in the code in the iCustom() which reads data from a custom indicator. The problem with this indicator is that it has very many input prameters which are not needed, because they are for alerts, plotting signals, etc. And, this indicator can not be called iCustom() friendly...
Coders just add stuff, but rarely think that somebody might want to use the indicator in iCustom().
Or, IOW, there should be a minimal version for iCustom().
