The Showpips.mq5 indicator is great and I always use it now. Is there someone here who can add equity to display on it? Would appreciate it. Thanks.

Don't worry, the EA is being now in testing.
To code it is one thing, but to test everything is another.
Especially when market doesn't give signals.

Coding a value TargetProfit on Breakeven indicator


Hello all,

This indicator is based on the average Price v3.0.mq4 by Joca - [email protected]

http://www.mql5.com . It shows the "BreakEven" line on the chart.


I have updated it with the insertion of Multiple MagicNumbers and the cumulative (between them) BE line level.

I am here to ask if someone is able to insert a code that defines a TargetProfit desired and moves the "BreakEven" line to the new target/profit level

This is here search its been done by BlueRain sometimes back i have also done the same and he was the one that guided me to download it are you trading from Nigeria?

The 2x5 MA indicator repaints.

The Trend Channel is down, so the EA was waiting for the Sell signal, and there was one, so the EA took the trade. But the signal was gone soon after that and the trade got SL.
With this signal indicator we need to wait another candle for the signal to be confirmed, so if we do that, we will not be able to enter at the price which the arrow indicates, but at a worse price. So, either we stick to the repeinting option and get more SL's, or we do the confirmed option and then we don't really know until we test a lot.

Oh, and the signal can repaint, because the indicatot looks at bar [i-1], and that is the trick which looks good on history, but in present time bar [i-1] is in the future, it has not been painted, yet.

Then I switched over to trading on M1 and got a trade:

This is in the repainting mode.
You can see here, that I only got this trade because I switched over to M1 after the previous Sell signal.

Maybe its better to drop it there aint no point in using an indicator that will destroy account. Is it possible for the auto trend channel to also be repainting, if not can you help me with 2 issues its all about FRACTAL BREAKOUT STRATEGY which im also building up, the auto channel will play its role and one other indicator. however i have eventually come across the mq4 file for autotrend channel its own job is to inform me with alert like .......MARKET SLOPING DOWN.....MARKET SLOPING UP.......MARKET FLAT......the other indicator maybe a bit tricky but it may not be for you it needs only just 1 single arrow alert to confirm a breakout ABOVE or BELOW the fractal indicator.For a BUY confirmation the first breakout candle close above the last fractal....ENTRY is the next candle this is where the arrow signal appears reverse is the case for SELL scenario.Thanks so much for all the time and stress you have spent i wish you the best of advancement in coding , imagine that you just joined not long ago and you have done so much for everyone here in a short time .Thanks

Oh you have gone far on it , what can be done now?Do you figure it will perform better on 4hrs ? The only other observation is if time frames are changed the stronger the time frame the better check this screenshot out. Can EA work on higher time frames?

Man, I have already coded the EA for you and it is working properly!
Why are you even bothering me and wasting my time, if you don't know what you want?
There is no Holy Grail of Forex that will trade and make money for you!!!
Either take the EA or kindly stop bothering me and other coders!!!

This EA takes 1 trade per trading session, max 2 trading sessions per day.
The trader decides which hour is best for session start based on his experience and observations of the instrument.
The Trend Channel can be set to hours (again, the trader decides which trend he wants to trade), or alternatively, the Trend Channel can be plotted from the begining of the day.
The signals moving averages also can be set by the trader based on the observations of the specific instrument.
The Stop Loss can be fixed in points, or by scanning for High/Low over the specified number of candles.

YOU - THE TRADER - must adjust the conditions of your indicators and/or EA to the specific market YOU are trading. The indicator or EA can not adjust itself!!!

PS. The EA is self-contained, which means that it does not call on any external indicators.
