Best practice is to focus on "EURUSD technicals", while leaving out all the theoretical talk... It is an endless pit that will suck your energy. Focus on what matters. You will see that your brain will function much more effectively and your results will get better!

I am calling it a day to hopefully continue after London opening...

Its always good to be curious and there is a solution if we consider all different market types are connected.


My strategy requires reading level 2 data from markets which allows me to see real market orders being executed on markets. Forget about attempting to read longer term positions or trader sentiment, that’s useless. What happen is there is Algo’s from many professional trading houses sitting on each side of the spread, either adding or removing Asks or Bids about 1/2 second ahead of the market execution.
If they see sellers entering, they add Asks to the order book while removing Bids simultaneously. Also they will place large orders 3 or 4 pips ahead in the Asks to encourage the market bullish but make cancel them when price gets close.
This is how they move the markets and this action can be read, but it happens very fast and only traded by Algo’s.

Sentiment of the markets are just a ruse to get traders to provide liquidity to meet their objectives. My point is you can’t guess market direction if you are aware of long and selling positions, over 1/3 of these positions are just funds that have no purpose other that to keep spreads small and encourage traders to Push the market button.

The only advantage of knowning the amount of buyers and sellers on the books is seeing the data only in the last second before they get executed.

Have closed my short here. Mainly because I have entered my short at 0.9839 instead of higher. Given the move yesterday will have to be extra careful when shorting this pair.

Good day. the bulls seem busy advancing towards R1 daily level just some pips above the Monthly pivot at 0.9847. They can move above it at 0.9905 but 0.9824 should stay intact. Vol is 81 pips.

Above 0.9883 Rally potential towards 0.9984 - 1.0000. From the downtrend line at 0.9883 there may be interim corrections before that which could bring the currency pair back to last week's highs of 0.9800 - 0.9809.
It will become critical again in the near term on a significant pullback below 0.9770, then the bullish rally scenario would be put on hold for now.

This drop was quiet fast but the price action stabilzed just above 0.9848 and inside the trendline but I most worry about the ZEW news release in less than an hour.
