BBands combined with a moving average appear as the common denominator of many winning Expert Advisors.
For many trades a day this seems most accurate for mt4.
The EMA checked in many timeframes does well.
Envelopes done right can be very successful. They, like BBands, win.
The ADX does not do well alone. It does have Upper and Lower bands that often win.
The RVI rarely trades but often wins. Perhaps 3 trades a week.
The RSI can help other indicators. It is often paired with other indicators to win.
The MACD is used two popular ways: fast v. slow loses much more often than "is price above or below MACD zero?"
The CCI is seldom used in any winning Expert Advisors. (I've seen 14 in over 900)
Stochastic is tricky. Grouped together over various timeframes does win. Alone, it is like 33% wins.
Candlestick patterns fail more than 50% of the time. They seem to win randomly in Mt4.
