The Hanging man and inverted hammer are two of the easiest setups imo. i look for them on all pairs 1hr 4hr and daily tf. back test them over weekend and see the results for yourself ---- dont believe an idiot like me you have to prove them to believe them. The bigger the time frame the more pips on offer

I guess apply it into trend is much better win rate.
i used to use those candlestick pattern for reverse but win rate not really good.
maybe is myself not enough familiar with it.
twice mistake this week and same mistake, counter trend with indicator set up divergence but failed at strong downtrend at gu and eu.
overall still green this week.

you just need to back test it enough on different time frames and that will give you the confidence to trade them in the future and once back tested you will know the % win rate. the Hanging man and inverted hammer are nothing new, they have been around forever but it is a stand alone system with a high win rate.

I call them -- TELLS ie, think of a game of poker. a Tell is like the dealer or opponent showing his hand so you know what to do

It's somehow scary to me. Last year you were happy to see daily ranges on GBP/USD exceeding a 70 Pips high/low and now you have M1 bars in the middle of the night putting in a 180 Pips?

How do scalpers handle that? Say you did everything right the textbook are telling you and placed in your -10 Pips stop loss but due to extreme volatility you might get slipped and your order first filled at -150 Pips? Say the 1 Pips would mean you are risking -1% of your account. Good night?

I think that's where you then happy to have at least a broker offering you a negative balance protection?

Most time is there is a strong move and one direction at Friday late session and close time, there either a gap or asian session follow it and push it harder.
most time, not every time.

Scalpers generally are the liquidity. i stopped scalping over 20yrs ago. im not saying that scalpers dont make money but it just didnt suit me, i never made enough money that way so had to change. if your making pips scalping then keep doing it, everyones different. you just have to find some way of trading that suits you, there is no 1 method that suits all

i pointed some out on page 9 of this thread. you need to spend a helluva lotta time before you see them in real time, its not easy and some i still miss and only see after the fact --- such is trading
