{quote} it's ok. i just talked to yavuz, it wasnt about this trade. (it was the only open trade) it was about 5 other trades i had open at the same time during a period of no news that cause the drawdown. (it still doesnt make sence) i am waiting for his response because i still dont see the drawdown below the trades that were open that caused the violation. (i just noticed 1 of the trades is not within the time of the violation of 12:30?? something is very wrong here) as i said, i am still waiting his responce because with no news and such little...

I just started looking into them as I'm considering social trader tools. I'm curious to know myself if anyone has a good one to recommend. Social trader tools makes it easy to copy my own signals but it can get costly after 5 accounts. I guess that's a tax write off if I decide to use them.

I've never used it but it's not an EA. You login their website and add your MT4/5 accounts and select which one you want to be the master and then your send to accounts. The features are good as each account can be managed sperately, including risk and lot sizes.

Another good feature that I noticed is adjusting the challenge accounts to take a larger risk to pass while keeping the funded account risk level low. You can set fixed lots on the send to accounts while your master account trade at whatever risk you want.

I've been using it for the past couple of years and I love it. It has tons of features and best of all its free. Their extensive user guide was a lot of help when I first started using it. I only trade a couple pairs, (NQ and DOW) so I have separate senders for each to take specific lot amounts on any receivers.
Trade with confidence, trade without fear.

Next week is worst week in the year for the stock market, so shorting SP500 and USD longs would be good. Anyone trading this seasonality ? I just numbercrunched it and it produced every year a profit for the last 12 years. I am just thinking about if I trade this. It looks good, every year a profit but of course it is optimized on 12 years data, if I go back more 10 years it does not work. But actually it seems to work. I get Reward-Risk-Ratio of 1.4 per year with ~100% win rate so far. I have attached some charts from my backtest I just made (always 1 lot traded as settings). I had some variation when to go in late September what kind of profittarget and how long to hold. That’s all. It entered a USDCHF long position on last Friday and it is already +0.3% in plus. One could pass a challenge within next two weeks with it.

What did the prior week those 12 years look like? Market got hammered this past week, I'd be looking for some type of correction/reversal this coming week.

It would slightly negative the week prior, so entering one week before would have not made sense. This is a kind of seasonal strategy or forecast for the next 2 weeks.

So I'm not a fundamental expert by no means and this article is very interesting. I'm curious to see how this will impact US currency pairs.

Read the article he is talking about next decade performance. Nothing short term and it might be forgotten soon too. This is nothing else than making marketing for his fund. But in any case you are interested how a fall in the US stock markets would affect US currency pairs, I can say that would make the USD stronger against others.

I only trade s&p and nas and there's fomc on Wednesday which has tended to be bullish for most of this year. But this year due to inflation, seasonality and hence trends have been all over the place. It's been great for short term volatile trades but not great for swing trading so unfortunately until the fed stops hiking rates, it's going to be really mainly short team trades that work.

The stock market right now is overvalued short term. The SP500 can go down 20 points on Monday until fair value is reached. But the real short should come then on Tuesday and Wednesday when there is the next Powell's FOMC meeting. I expect markets will tank again and USD gets stronger too. It should be 0.75% rate increase.

I know this bullish FOMC drift for the S&P500 which is illustrated below. But the sharpe ratio of this strategy is lower so it does not work quite often. This time it can be different and there is something to mention in addition. My overall seasonal swing bearish potential setup or trade could still be working despite a 0.5% bullish move here on the S&P500. Because a +0.5% average expected move does not contradict the overall next week and the week after seasonal bearish move on a swing setup.

Or the hard down move this past week was pricing in the hike. Along with the CPI and the upcoming hike, Ill be looking tonthe upside. Another huge reason is the masses will be looking downside.

Hey folks, whats the consensus on the firm with the best spreads on here? I don't really mind other terms as long as the firm has low trade fees and tight spreads.

I think further downside is possible going into Wednesday, but then I'll be looking for buys. Price is usually about "what's next", so as I stated I believe this hike is priced in and CPI data pushed it further down. Now it will be about future hikes.
I could also be completely wrong, in which case, I'll be trading crosses all week.
