I am not vouching for the accuracy of this video. But in this video it appears there are instructions for applying Heikin Ashi candles to renko bars in MT4.

I did not watch every minute of the video, but he discusses Tradingview also, so maybe there is aa way to replicate rocky's set up in Tradingview and MT4.

If you have access to a broker that offers Ninjatrader, I'd suggest you open an account that offers you Ninjatrader.

Took a bullish divergence for 20 ticks, right now looking like big moves happened early. So just looking to scaslp some pips. You will see a +24 tick marked on chart, I slightly hesitated on entry and boom missed it, whole trade would of lasted 1 min.

Missing a good trade because you hesitate oe talk yourself out of it, is a mistake. But in the end it;s not a costly mistake. Doesn't matter how good you get you will make mistakes. The trick is making mistakes that cost you as little as possible. I miss a fair number of opportunities either by not taking a trade or getting out of trades at B/E that turn into winners and of course the occasional WTF trade. So don't try to be perfect you never will be. But with an edge and really good money management you can be profitable.

I'm using HA over Renko already long time. In the attachment you'll find MT4 template similar like is here used on NT7.

1. Put indicators and template to the MT4
2. Restart MT4
3. Generate a Renko chart without wicks.
4. Load my template on Renko chart.

Done and enjoy it :-)

PS: all another indi are included in MT4 platform. I had to use RSI 8/5 with RSI 8/3 it looks crazy

Hi rockypoint,

Congrats on the thread and thank you for sharing the trading system.

I've a few doubts about your entry points:

Do you wait for the previous candle to cross the high/low iMA?
For the OBV do you check for a special value? or just see the trend that is taking?
For RSI do you avoid opening a trade if the value if overbought/oversold? or just take into account the 50 value?

i've added an example:

1)Price closes abov/below Ema tunnel with Ema's sloping in desired direction.
2) OBV headed up for longs and down for shorts
3) Rsi crossed above/below 50 rsi would rarely be in OB?OS with this system for entries.
4) Adx above 25
5) I trade Renko?heiken ashi candles brick size 5 usually.

Figures after 2 no trading days you get a nice tradable trend day today which offered 3 simple trades. But no trades for me. Spent last night dancing and driking cerveza. We went see our favorite band No One Knows at our favorite bar Jillz. It's Independence Day in Mexico celebrated yesterday and today. Viva Mexico!!

Happy independence day! Hi RP. I hope the hangover is gone. I am fine tuning some entry rules here. I need your help please. When you were trading on m5/when you trade on m5 charts with a 20 pip stop loss, and waiting for the candle to close before you enter trades, what candle size would you avoid as too big eg you will only enter if the candle is x pips and below. (for a 20 pop stop loss).

Yep never liked making entries on large candles. For me it's visuall so when 1 see a candle is way bigger than any of the previous candles I'd avoid entry. No I don't really have a size in pips that I use.

Actually I watch tv while I trade. Laptop sitting on my lap me in a recliner, otherwise I get bored and/or anxious waiting. Just staring at a screen can't do it.
Right now I'm watching Santo.
