If we assume that a new bull cycle begins and sees itself through we maybe looking at 400 to 500 pips till mid October maybe sooner. Lots of assumptions but looking at the charts, plenty of instances of that. Thoughts?

Comparing the EU to the FED is like comparing grapes to watermelons - totally different and that's what the financial markets are forgetting.

The EU doesn't have as much wiggle room as the FED mainly because of the WAR in Ukraine and the green energy policies that are coming back to haunt the EU.

Will rate hikes end the war?
Will rate hikes cause natural gas prices to come down? (NO WAY - rate increases will decrease demand but when it's cold and you need heat to live demand be damned)
Will rate hikes lower the cost to farmers and food costs?

The more the EU raises rates the harder it will be to finance their debt and right now Italy it teetering on the brink.

Fundamentally there is much more than has been discussed because it's easier to deal with technical analysis. While I trade off of TA when push comes to shove I am a firm believer that that fundaments rule and technicals confirm.

this is possible. This is why i traded other eur pairs instead of eurusd because i feel eu will be affected the most should this happen

I use divergence to get ready (early and first signal) and I use trendlines for entries... They both work as a team..

0.75% hike from ECB not above forecast! EU is holding yet, but what Lagarde next will say is the danger.

I was waiting for faster price action lets hope we will get it, or bulls will lose interest and then bear will come. Can it go below 0.9900 - silly question!
