Just morning views, 3 consecutive dojies daily pointing down breakout but looks not any great today or decision making if not news effects. Range can be parity to 9915 while well below weekly close of interest 0086 and 0038 and not important perhaps today, so daily may try over 9980 winning mode, not so logical or below 9942 bear win mode, most possible.or h4 try close 9940 to try bull next week again. Take care
In smaller tf, in plain view, hs having projection target 79 pips below 9954. Break 9954 2nd time and success likely 3rd attempt after 2nd flight of fear!

Good morning. Remember this week EURUSD broke parity for second time took out the low at 0.9953, reached 0.9900, closed above it and since then it is ranging inside this weekly range. Maybe its the time for it to test the edges to see where it is going to break. 0.9950 and 1.0050 are the first prices I have in mind, but first I will wait the volatility to settle before any entry. Volatility today is 70 pips.

Daily chart : keep short position , entering new one as price reach again 1.0027 - 30 or higher 1.0130 or 1.01782 , target 0.97947

I don't know how sure it is, but it's all my strategy so far.

Preparing for Powell's Friday

I'm not going to speculate where prices will go . I'll wait for the market reaction before drawing out EURUSD direction next week.

For the meantime, there are several key levels price will need to break if it wants to go up.

  1. The 23.6% Fib retracement at $1
  2. The 50-period arithmetic MA at $1.005
  3. The 200-period SMA at $1.015

The market had been selling dollar for three consecutive days (Tue, Wed and Thu) at London session closing. I marked it as U1, U2 and U3.
The bar is set so high for Powell to steer the market again, especially after that T-word blunder last year.
It's been so toxic that we can no longer say it. Oops.. transitory

I am not a indicator follower like you. Just draw a strategy to trade in a few days.

The spike down from 0.9969 is marking a new point where buls should beat if, they at least want to make it to 0.9979 and then turn the tide to the upper range. Bears have easier job to do, but they must beat 0.9945 first, then they will open the way for lower prices around 0.9911.

Sideline for now. We are between 0.9920 and 0.9980

Would consider buying dip when Powell speaks and aim for higher. Yesterday high and 1.0150

Ideally, there should be no slide below USD 0.9952, otherwise a run to USD 0.9900 is more likely. Above USD 1.0033, however, daily targets are at yesterday's daily high of USD 1.0033 and USD 1.0072. In addition to the event of the central bank meeting in Jackson Hole, economic data from the USA could cause movement in trading today.

Anything can happen, one seemingly last leg up running for over 9980 to parity ok before tanking! Perfect pa running so far!

Its viable looking at price action - 1.0017 is my exact target for an upleg, but before Powell, cause he is a known hawk today.

Likely and all those red news born to destabilize the market intentionally!! Nothing to change with any news or talks if offline but raise raise volume to deliberately fear all instantly.

News are hard to trade, but swing trading is a good way to beat them.

Bulls made it to 0.9980, but they have second thoughts to move further. If, 0.9965 hold the price above it then the chances they get what they want are growing. A break of the last and a drop to 0.9947 would be posible.

Yes need it to closed below 0.9972 but it seems pa want higher now.
Watching hourly close to decide what to do with my short. Should have stay sidelined.

Nice bounce around levels of concern. watching for 9992/1/88 and 84 confirmation for top failure next.
Top2early signals done , next 2 confirmation waiting. For next limit 9979 as better top failure signal where 9970 better confirmation stamping the failure top!
Now good signal 9998 and confirmation9991
