Meanwhile, on H4...

I think Jackson Hole rumors are almost priced in.. This wave 5 is slowly coming to an end. But don't rush!

Now... for the next 7 hours or so here are my S/R levels... 0.9893 is now key support (probably valid until NY session starts).

EU is sell the rumor yet but will a bounce be strong enough. Two weeks ago EU could hit 1.0400 and now I can't think of higher prices above 1.0100

And today is also Flash's busy day... He will be running all over the globe... First to France.. then Germany and then to the USA to provide data for us

It is continuously down before solid 3 red and one medium impact news of Euro. So it is very dangerous to short here. I think the best thing is to see all news then act together. Based on past experience, if it is continuously down then after the news either it will go in range or bounce towards upward direction.

0.9924 is the decision point in 15 min chart. Price is near 0.9900 a number that may offer some support from it, or below lets hope any fall will not be so brutal I haven't seen higher prices from Friday yet!

as bear continued in a 5th wave of c down , can be too crazy and complex and already is, next level react likely goes to 9788 or 161% fib 9562 before the pull back 1.0864! so only bear till some reactions at srs. take care

Tuesday update.

It was a bumpy ride for Euro since US CPI data nearly two weeks ago.
As usual, I continued to buy into the so called "weakness".
I'm not particularly worry because as I said, I'm trading on extremely low leverage.
The drawdown from EURUSD pair I've accumulated so far was at single digit (2.8%).

On techical front, I drew a Fib retracement for the dip from $1.036 down to $0.99.
My medium term plan is to long it up to 161.8% ($1.065). I've even long term target above that.
Short terms, I'm looking for a bounce to:

  1. 23.6% Fib level ($1)
  2. Minor consolidation around 50% and 61.8% ($1.013 to $1.019)
  3. Final hurdle on $1.036

On fundamental front, we're looking at if Powell "disappoints" during Jackson Hole.

QT has two parts, broadly speaking: interest rate and balance sheet reduction
Fed has been good at raising rates, no doubt. We saw euphoria in USD each time Fed members spoke on rising rate.
No words yet on how to unwind that $2.2 trillion assets they've bought since the pandemic.
If Powell is tight-lipped on the details, I expect market sentiment to turn sour.

As a comparison, ECB balance sheet now stood at $9 trillion. Fed's at $8.8 trillion.
Rate of change annualised (to Aug 2022): ECB: -4.8%, Fed: +6%
If Fed struggles to offload those assets down the road, it will weigh negatively against the USD.

awesome mate, you don't show any worries of holding those too long even with hundred pips minus.

but i think it needs catalyst not from Fed but from the core issue between Ukraine and Russia, i read on some news that Erdogan from Turkey want to organize meeting between Putin & Zelensky in future..once there is a progress regarding the negotiation peace. it will going up brutally, but of course needs long enough time.

A white background would be really good to go through the details in the chart.

If the MONTHLY candle closes below the blue line, then I'll be considering the MAGNET level as a next MIN. target on a HTF
