as regards cycles, after a big low you know that price will do another low after ABOUT 5 days ....7/8...............it is important to see how the sequence of bars develops .... if there are retracements or if the swing is "clean"
in this case you can estimate if it will be 5 or 7/8 days (I'm always talking about gbpusd)
that's why I'm curious to understand why you wrote 5 day cycle !!

I guess it is just easier for me to plan ahead. i look at economic fundamentals and how the past responded to positive or negative results.
the biggest challenge lately has been the US Fed increasing Rates. and a looming recession. it should be interesting to see how GBP/USD performs in the next five day session. i am sorry to disappoint you as you seem very educated in Forex technicals and i am still learning. feel free to forward more information. i enjoy all the input i can get to improve my trading.

Lowest low of the day - up to that point. Which continues to hold, but that is besides the point. If it changes I re-plot GannFan.

I also use highest high of the day down, and both up and down GF's from 500pm ET opening price.

Hello, All!

I've found sidereal time patterns with the zodiac that I imagine Gann used. I need software to analyze old data and do a lot of drawings. Is there software that will let me make multiple charts with old data, with as much drawings as I want? It's just for analysis, not trading (until I'm ready). I need to go back several decades so I want to be able to save to hard drive. There is a lot to record. Luminary positions, lunar node positions, and cycles within cycles within cycles. I don't think I can record this much even if I pay for something like Trading View.
