Yep, very pretty to watch how they are moving price to both sides of the market without any build up.
No build up = No Trade.

my guess on the area of interest would be 50-62 fib, somewhere around previous NY high.
but i am going out today.

That's a nice area as it also coincides with the untouched Asian and London trading window highs.
No need to rush into anything today and I'll be watching more closely from later in the London session.

Bears are holding price below the ema in a very sideways Monday market.
See if traders want to move the USD on the back of some interesting economic news out of China.

Aggressive Asian Session News Trade
Not my trade to front run a red news folder in Monday's Asian session directly into a 50 level.

Only just got back in the office so no trades as yet.

I always like to see if a trade is already in motion before I look for any "new trades.
This sell was a break of yesterday's low then a failed retest where new bears came back in.
[9:25] Candle showed the bearish rejection and then trapped price for 4 more candles. The signal bar was the bearish false high rejecting the 25 ema.
Just a really nice 20 pip trade.

1.02 Magnet really got price moving.

I always used to take trades like this but staying out of this one as it is happening outside of my window and inside the lunch time doldrums. It is also
lacking a technical retest which is a little higher up for me.
Otherwise not a bad retest of the 25ema.

fib 62 of london range and trend line bounce.

There is room back up to the PP if Bulls want to try for a retrace but the bears control the HTF.

i am sharing the following. it's up to each individual to back test whether it works for you not.

this is a very simple rule i learnt from the 2022 ICT mentorship youtube.
he has many rules, but i just take only one or two ideas from it.
this will tell the direction to trade for the day.

the 3 fractal rule - not the Bill Williams 5 fractal.

starting from the daily. the swing high or low shows you the directional bias.
the h1 (m30, m15) swing high or low with the same direction as d1 indicates to prepare to look for entry in lower time frames.
this is very important - the time of day - sharpen your entry with lower time frames during london or new york session.

when can you be wrong?
when the trend changes.
when there is major news events.

this is using only 3 fractal and time of day.

Nice half number push and pull going on at the moment as each side stops the other from gaining any traction.
There are a few red folder news items later today to see if that helps kick things along.

I've entered long on this current bottoming pattern for a 10 pip target at the start of the 3rd hour.

Those simple trendlines are really on point. Great work. It is not one of my strengths.
I'm just looking for my Asian session 10 pips here but if they want to take it up further
later on then that might be nice too

it seems to me that you wake up early to trade asian session.
then you go to work and try to trade the london session.
i think you seldom trade the new york session.
