Disliked{quote} quite right, H4 showed the start of the setup, then zoom in with lower TF (H1, M30, M15..) and M5 was the trigger on a pullback, the exit was on the first RSI reversal. If I zoomed out to higher TF I could have stayed a bit longer, but it doesn't matter, maybe next time I will confirm with higher TF.Ignored
Disliked{quote} do you look for the same pullback setup on the H4 as the M5? also, why do you prefer H4 over D1?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I would if my setup TF is D1, then my pullback would be a lower TF like H4 or H1. H4 presents more opportunities than D1.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Do you use SR on the higher time frames? I was planning on following the first post, trade in the direction of the daily candle and trade the pullbacks on M5 but use H1 for SR.Ignored
QuoteDislikedSR are useful for entry points of price rejection on resistance or bounce off support and also for target projection.
Disliked{quote} {quote} No, I'm still using M5 but this chart illustrates what I said earlier. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} 1. check direction of d1 candle 2. look for entry points on h1/h4 based on trend direction and SR 3. look for trades on m5 Am I understanding correctly?Ignored
Disliked{quote} yes, check direction of D1, wait for setups on H4 in the same direction, zoom down to H1 and check the RSI changing color, (I'm using the histogram but you can use the original above /below 50) if price already ahead of you don't run after it, zoom further down until you get a better entry on a pullback. once you place your trade and SL plan your exit on a near by S/R or on the next change in RSI color (if you got out too soon it's ok, you can wait for re-entry on the next change in color provided the trend is still valid) if you see more...Ignored
