Ever wonder who is providing bids/lifting offers at such a high relative price?

Throughout this entire 1.01-1.0290 range, its been the banks who are holding 100,000 lot short positions from 1.06 or even much higher than that.

For them these are good prices to cover shorts, even though we see it dip back down to 1.01 / 1.02 again and again.

Hot money is shorting while banks are covering their multi month shorts.

Bears you need this 4hr close below 1.0212

Bulls you need above of 1.0235
This would be a very nice divergence at this level before the news today. IF that forms - I'll open a SHORT.
JUST LIKE IT FORMED AT THE GREEN LEVEL on the bottom a few hours ago.

The highest bullish spikes I anticipate for today are limited with 1.0255/60 area... USD inflation must be truly truly terrible to push price higher than that.. I don't think numbers will be that bad. Therefore, for now I am planning to look for selling opportunities with every spike that targets these mentioned highs... but if numbers are really terrible my selling plans would change of course! Time will tell...

I believe it will go to 1.0290 and possibly higher.
Risk Management is of utmost importance!

1.0235 is the new decision point, price may bounce, or break from there. 1.0263 is the end of the bullish range and at 1.0274 the weekly resistance so price may get there to find any sellers left.

Truly terrible? I have the opinion that:

-if inflation is HIGH then USD gets bought up due to the feds' willingness to raise rates more to curb inflation = LOWER EURUSD
-if CPI comes in at or below .5, then we will have HIGHER EURUSD.

Are we thinking the same?

yes... hotter number means more dollar strength.
The tendency of the market towards the weakness of the dollar, right on the eve of the important CPI news, is very strange and of course interesting
