Dislikedi do not see your grid was very different from the classic one, which can be added in the mt4 itself. if you feel more comfortable that way, that's good. for me it is not necessary.Ignored
DislikedQuestion for everyone? Do you want to progress in your trading fast or slow? If your answer is fast, then just stick to the base grids and colors like mine, so I can provide you a speedy learning curve. Level thickness / type is all the changes acceptable for now. Don't change colors, delete lines. Plot your ABCD's like mine either 50% or 100% A to B. Grid size 5, 10, 50, 100 is fine. For now. Again, PLZZZZZZ. It is a little perturbing that I have had to ask so specifically. It is for your benefit I can assure you. Thank you, TONYIgnored
Disliked{quote} Clear enough for me. Thanks. I'll be watching this now with great interest. {image}Ignored
DislikedTony, does it make sense to plot ABCD of smaller level distance, from the entry point of bigger ABCD ? Light pink 6 - 1 - 6 sequence. Chart enclosed. Thanks {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Dave you are definitely going about it bit differently than me. Interesting.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi I think you would call me a breakout trader I just love Grids And boy oh boy this is one hell of a grid The patterns for measured moves are just out of this world By using the 10pip Grid I have got my risk down to 20pips max Still lots to learn but I am sure the effort seems more than worth it ps I have just set the Grid to the July low (7 2 7) and left it alone, done the % 25 50 75 100 as Tony/Swede postedIgnored
DislikedThe magenta line is where the market had its C to D completion, instead of a pull back the market continued to climb and hit the 2nd D of the 2nd ABCD sequence. (highlighted by the yellow box) When there is no pullback to the C immediately following a D being hit it is a sign there was no profit taking at that price. When this type of price movement occurs the missed C will become a price the market likes to fill. Think of it being a gap closing. This is what happened today.{image}Ignored
