It really does! Again and again. At least Bears have a slight longer-term advantage. I hope they take advantage of it next week. But honestly, I don't mind this ranging. Cheers brother !

Next week is US FOMC meeting and FED is going to hike with 0,75% points, also US PCE, EU/US 2Q GDP & EU CPI are releases to watch.

Thanks to this room and thanks to Ata and all the members who participate every day, I transformed my initial investment of € 250 into € 3,500. It was my goal to achieve. A wrong goal because I hadn't given myself a specific time frame.

Yesterday for the first time I reached 3500 €. It took me over 3 years to achieve this goal.

Now the next goal is to reach 10K € but I don't know if it makes sense to put a date by which to do it or not. In any case, I wanted to thank everyone.

Meanwhile, on H1...

First of all, I am glad that members like EmmeLegend make use of the valuable information that is shared here day after day... Therefore I am sincerely wishing more strength to the skills of all our productive family members here... Many many thanks

That said, coming back to my elliptical H1 chart, here are my thoughts for Monday:

  1. When stacking the 1st strong breakout level (dashed black) together with the small ellipse center line (dashed red) I am getting a resistant zone between 1.0240/50... That area could help for sell opportunities as long as it resists!
  2. However, if this zone breaks, I would target the upper edge of this inner ellipse as next resistance level: 1.0329 area, since it is also along the same path of the ascending channel which price is currently inside of...
  3. And my final scenario: If bulls fail and bears continue lower, then I would watch if the bottom line (bold black) of a slowly forming wedge + the lower edge of ellipse can support or not. Roughly: 1.0145/65 area!

I better keep this brief, so that's it for now...

for me personally i wouldnt put a date on it. that puts added pressure on you to achieve your goal. what your doing is working dont change it and you might get to 10k quicker than you think, just my 2cents. Well done and keep going

This is an amazing accomplishment. My biggest congratulations. And it is a great feeling to read how my favorite thread helped you. What I like to call Ata and family. I agree with

And also for the reason that I find it best to mainly let price be the guide.

But don't get me wrong. My humble suggestion is still: Listen to yourself, to your present needs, and if you do feel that a date, or any other goal could help you, that is great! Just as long as you're not putting more importance on it than it deserves, like letting it affect your judgement or your trading rules. Using it more like a curiosity, an "evolving" goal, as you keep on learning and growing in your trading adventure.

Goals have helped me a great deal in the past. But now I just accept what comes. I have learned and accomplished much more by focusing on adapting, following and reacting to price's actions, more so than by trying to reach certain goals. There are exceptions, like in risk management across a diversified portfolio, when other variables are at play, sometimes personal. But most goal's, objectives etc., are more often than not arbitrary(in relation to trading) and have very little to do with the market and more to do with our individual selves, which can also cause more bad than good.

For me, goals are so often very helpful, especially in terms of motivation,etc. But once a certain level of experience is attained, at least for me, they become irrelevant. After all, trading is dependent on the whims of price. Like in the good old days when our lives were so much more dependent on the whims of nature.

No matter what you decide, it is only a tiny fraction in your Great Trading Adventure, and I am wishing you the very best throughout. Such a great start ! With all that hard work, you more than deserve it. The first times I made such gains, I thought I was done losing. Fact is, I still went on around 2 years of losing before turning it around...

Last but not least, I strongly recommend to not ever let your gains go below a certain level which, if reached, a whole other special plan would be executed without fail. Perhaps of more historical analysis, practical optimization principles, researching, studying, practicing plan to revise every thing you did, before getting back in.

I leave with simple thoughts I repeated often to myself way back when. I don't remember most of them, unfortunately. Quite "corny' But it helped, so it doesnt matter ! But one was more or less the following : every big accomplishment is a galaxy of accomplishments each built by starting with one simple step, and then rising after every fall.

There's a lot of imbalance and liquidity left from 5th of July when price bottomed out after Independence Day. To clear the FVG is a range of 150+ PIPs. So maybe price continues Bullish to clear some of the imbalance before heading back down.

just sitting idle to see different charts , an apparent bottom formation was better than correction to reverse , not happened . and 9951 was very strong sr to have some good reaction but so far 0359 limit intact while got 9 days for less 408 pips / average 54 pips /day with all and every craziness , may many intervention from all big worlds economies together and still insufficient . so already in big bear , should reverse strong but failed so far , so still big bear continues till not. and as we to deal with what happening should try follow it ! lets see

For the week, my best ever in PnL (not %), thanks to taking some large risk (5%) near parity.

Most days I'm risking 5 -25 basis points per trade, with the occasional 50 or 100 if it's an A+ setup.
