really interesting, always amazed me how fibo tends to nail swings, never think the same about horitzontal axis, will give it a try for sure
I trade xauusd, i did it well?

Hello, it looks like that you have placed it well. Keep it up bro. I should tell you that please dont try to predict swing tops and bottoms in 15 min time frame at the very beginning because it is little bit noisy and most of the times, top or bottoms come with +-2bar accuracy. 1hr and 4hr are the best at the early stages.

that's the one that I placed in the one hour chart (first screnshot of my post yesterday) and it worked, now I'm hyped
(this was placed at one hour chart but I screnshot the 15 to see the detail)

Hello, the larger cycle doesnt fit nicely to tops and bottoms. There are 4 notes which dont lie on tops and bottoms. SO it is not a good placement.

When I first started trading I got interested it Gann, but life got in the way and I started looking at other stuff. You've rekindled my interest in him. I'm facinated as to why you use the western music scale (eastern music uses more complex scales). I play the piano but I don't remember Gann referencing the diatonic scale, I would've remembered, could you please elaborate more?

I understand that time plays an important role in Gann theory as it does in music, but Gann used daily charts on stocks and commodities (intraday wasn't available in his day). Surely, these days with computer and algorithmic trading across the world by central banks and large investment banks, time plays a very small part, afterall it's a 24 hour business nowadays. In trading humans play a very small part in moving the market, I've been on a trading floor at a bank and there's not much human input!

However, you have an interesting take on Gann and I look forward to more posts

HI. I assume if there was no swing the configuration would not exist, is that correct?. I'm quite impressed with the setup found with your method confirming my method for an entry for next week. I explain why. Like you, I use a temporal method on high times and I have been waiting for the high pullback for 3 weeks which in my opinion should be by Wednesday with a possible error of a day of delay unless there are other complications. your method says friday instead and there is a discrepancy. The interesting thing though is that it confirmed my week. Waiting three or four weeks to find a powerful swing and then staying in the market for a long time is no small feat. I want to see what happens and will keep you informed. If you still follow this method here tell me if the configuration I posted in your opinion is correct. In my opinion only the 144 SI and the 288 FA are not quite correct with a 6/7 for the 144 and a 6/7 for the 288, but I understand that a 6/7 of the bars in the fibo area is correct all the same.
