Couldn't understand the second part of your post. Plus it's calculated in my head by looking at the screen. I wouldn't be able to explain how my mind works. Secondly and more importantly I could easily use a chart and tell you where you should have bought or sold, but that's what everyone does, what's the point? Even though that way I can better explain the levels , where you should have bought and sold and why.

Nobody else will do that, and I can why they won't. Why would anyone give information like this away to people who don't deserve it? I've my reasons, one of the most important one is the one we both share. Hopefully you got the gist.

sorry, you miss understood my question. It is not i do not THINK (see) it will go there. It DID NOT go there (1532) in June 2022.
If i am to use the prior month hi lo to set the numbers for the lines to be drawn as per your guidelines, then your numbers are wrong. BUT then you say to go 2011. WHY there? You are not answering that question and i think it is fair to ask.

Underlying question: why is it that for the daily, weekly, yearly levels, you simply take the previous period (day, week, month) to take the high / low. And for some reason, for the monthly TF the methodology is different, why?

I see that your monthly high level is a swing high in May 2021, and your low level is a wick low in September 2011. Since those are vastly different from your D/W/Y levels, could you explain the difference. Also, it makes the monthly low level lower than the yearly low level, which is also counter-intuitive.

GOLD trade was Tue 19/7/2022..., where can we draw H1 levels from?
1/ Can we draw H1 levels using the prev day range, Mo 18/7? NO, as shown on picture price has broken out from the Mo range, so Mo range is invalidated
2/ Can we draw H1 levels using the prev range, last Fri, 15/7/2022, because our current Tue range still lies nicely inside of last Friday's range? NO, as shown on picture, Monday's price has broken out of Fri's range, so invalidated it as standard base for drawing H1 levels
3/ Can we draw H1 levels using the next prev range, last Thursday, 14/7/2022? YES,the Thursday's range is not broken by any following daily range. So it is the last valid range to draw H1 levels from, until its daily range is broken out, then we would have to seek FURTHER back in the history for a day we determine as the new valid daily range as new standard to draw H1 level from.

So we must keep a record for each H1, H4, D1, WN1 where we consider as last valid standard to draw levels from. The prev daily/weekly/montly/yearlyyrange is NOT always a standard to draw the next day H1 levels.

Could it be here is a general misunderstanding in the use of our nome "yearly levels"?

for me I use H1 chart to draw the daily H1levels (NOT MEANING examine the levels on the daily chart)
for me I use H4 chart to draw the weekly H4levels (NOT MEANING examine the levels on the weekly chart)
for me I use D1 chart to draw the monthly D1levels (NOT MEANING examine the levels on the monthly chart)
for me I use WN1 chart to draw the yearly W1levels (NOT MEANING examine the levels on the yearly chart)
so on WN1 according to the attached picture, I can see the current not complete range (from separation line to line) exceeded the prev range of 2021, so invalidated 2021 as standard. But the current range is fitted nicely in the 2020 range, which is also not broken by 2021, so why can 2020 NOT be the new standard to draw WN1 levels, why we need to seek further back in the history to 2011? we can see 2011 is broken down by a lot of years in between, and broken up by the year 2020

A reply to all asking about the relevancy of Monthly Levels, the only reason previous Month's Levels are invalid because the low was already broken, once it gets back in that area, use them.

How I came up with my monthly levels? Like I earlier said, it is due to experience, it is in that range even though the range is 11 years old.

Irrelevant 100%. There are no positive expectation using em. If you code small EA you can try any setup and max you will get is 47% winrate.
Price can go to the level and bounce back, it can try it 2 times or 3, it can nail it or not.

Why? Because "monthly" level is a non-existent thing, it is just high or low for selected period IN THE PAST. Nothing more. It is incorrect to think that price reach some level because it was level. Price reach it because there were market buys or sells, market activity.

I see the trend down before London open without the retests. Got some levels to watch for in NY.
Better entry was at 13:00 but caught this using daily levels.

OH MY GOD

Discovered this tread a few hours ago, readed in diagonal and understanded some things, not really clear yet but i get this thing about drawing manually the daily weekly levels etc. I did it and then, while I'm doing, I seen that ''maybe will go to this level'' (any other thing checked) and entered, right now is at 60 pips and going closer to that level where I put the tp.

Now I'm half in the pdf where all your posts are collected, there are a lot of things that I don't understand, specially the h&s thing, when I finished it I will bring my questions. for now I'm in at full.
