Hi Traders,

here is a chart showing how traders (data collected from multiple brokers in one minute intervals) position themselves throughout the day.
If red line is above blue line, more people are positioned short vice versa (position size is not included).
One can observe that on days when the price falls sharply, most traders tend to go long throughout the day.

Today the chart looks like this... more people are short than long (since start of the day).
Of course, the price can still fall, but it's the first time in days that the majority has stopped buying...

This isn't a recommendation to go long, but maybe it will help someone.

(Ignore the spike... reason for this was an error in data acquisition)

Just thinking out loud: After 5 hours or so, if price is still crawling below 1.0017, don't expect anything from bulls! For me, buying can start only once/if I see some serious progress above 1.0017!

*0.9994 is nearest support

Alternative Daily Wave Count

  1. Let's assume for a moment that we are not at the end of wave 5 but of a wave 3 of 5...
  2. If that's true, a wave 4 is coming soon that might drag price back to 1.0265 area...
  3. 1.0355 is key level that keeps this wave count valid as long as it stays untouched...
  4. Don't rush though: Looks like wave 3 still has not ended yet!

Nothing on the news, probably a spike caused by 1.0000 - take profit by sellers and some buying interest.

If, more bulls join then it can reach to 0094, if, not then it will retrace all down to the trendline (now 0017) bounce, or break below towards 9989.

I think DXY might go down to 107.5 (maybe lower). Shorts are always louder than the Bulls...... Hope I am not wrong otherwise it will get messy tomorrow lol.
