Quite interesting to have to open up a weekly chart and technically try to plot where we are heading. If the 1.0000 breaks hard, a quick spike to 0.9600 looks plausible.

I think your glass ball maybe bias. I Cant see any good reason to buy Euros with American dollars yet.

Best to just keep chipping away at the 30 min/hourly swings for pocket money before the main event

Just looking back, a little bit of basic technical study on when we last broke 1.0000 back in November 1999. Price only dropped to about 0.9993 before going back up just over 300 pips the following week. It then swung around for a few weeks, never totally coming back and topping at about 420 pips 5 weeks later (at a past resistance zone) before breaking back down 8 weeks later to continue lower. Just something to add to your technical probability baskets Unsure of what fundamentals were at play at the time.

Good morning, EU came very near parity and now is standing above as I am writing looking to break.

Resistance is at 1.0032 - also a decision point. 1.0006 pivot in my screen can bounce, or open the road to new lows like, 0.9983. Volatility today is 79 pips and price can travel more.

After that bounce the target of 0.9983 now changed, but EU can still drop below parity to 0.9989.

To me, parity parrots have already won long time ago even when numbers were showing 1.0140... but nooooooooooo, there are always those greedy "number addicted" morons who must see 1.0000 to the tick... They just can't help it..

*You can spot such morons in your close circle.. Those types always calculate everything to the smallest detail.. For example if they owe you 20.27 usd and you are okay with 20 usd payback, they insist in paying those 0.27 cents.. Of course it goes vice versa, they always insist for those detail cents when you owe them money and they make a big deal out of it... Yeah.. could be some sort of retard's brain damage I guess.. It is what it is...

Close enough for me . TP at 1.00005 (yup, so close but keeping away!). Time to call it a day and watch the fireworks!

Meanwhile, the situation on the weekly chart:

  1. 1.0111 was the area where I was expecting a bounce up, but here we are watching sellers forcing to reach to my maximum low: 0.9951....
  2. I assumed this is wave 5 of 5 BUT what if this is wave 5 of 3???? OMG..... the end of the world is coming! lol just food for thoughts..
  3. Whatever wave count we can make out of this in the end there has to be a correction lurking somewhere (notice macd divergence).. Time will tell when that kicks in... No rush!
