Hi anyone working with Market Profile in a Easy manner? I welcome anyone who have Good idea on it and Can be discussed here in a easy manner. Starting from A,B,C..... I seen John Keppler but not worthy for my brain capacity.

basically price often finds it's way back to fill in the gaps (low volume areas) while SR areas tend to be at the heaviest volume areas.

Who participating in the profile? Locals and day traders? Other time frame traders and investors? Do you only have tick volume data? Are you concerned about your dedicating time and effort due to a limited brain capacity? (Lol)

Buba I opened this thread as a newbie in Market profile. I know Mt4-Mt5 represent tick volume and not total volume of certain time , these issues are learned at very initial stage of trading , in this forum there are lots of intelligent traders than me , in fact your reply seems, you too very intelligent . I'm not not that intelligent enough and if you feel you can add value to post then add some references, so I captivate market profile slightly better.

I don't think there is an easy method. I believe it requires serious dedication to learning and I don't pretend to be an expert. I've read (and re-read) Mind over Markets (James Dalton) as well as online material (CME).
There is a thread on this forum and the thread starter was mentored by Jim Dalton. I believe he/she only trades the GBPUSD and even made a good TPO indicator for MT4.

-A good thing about having actual volume when analyzing a market profile is it can show you how much volume has traded at a certain price level. For this reason I believe trading something which trades on an actual exchange has an advantage and I need all the advantages I can get.

I never heard about this trading method! Is it technical based on fundamental? May I know details about market profile strategy? By the way, I mainly use news trading here!

Volume trading is not possible as a general trader! Only prime brokers offer volume, but only for one/two trading pairs! Usually, it requires minimum 1Million trading capital.

i m not looking to trade futures ,i just look for volume or market profile for MT5 cause they offer futures feeds and real volumes and it can be usefull

forex futures data are accurate unlike spot forex data , MT5 offer futures feeds and volumes , a volume profile on futures will be accurate

I voted here that no idea because I really have no idea what to do with all of that shit. The only thing you can really do is some manual trading by using your own strategies and such and are not looking here for that matter really. That's the only way really.

I've found that Market Profile is just another way to look at supply/demand, support/resistance or even accumulation/distribution. I use market profile mostly on futures and commodities. For day trading I use 2 sessions with S&P500 futures: over night (Asia, Europe and London) and New York. I trade the NY session and look for previous NY session VA and current session initial balance. Below is an example of how I've set up my charts.

- 5 minute on the left, with VWAP, Initial Balance and previous day High, Low and Close.
- 30min TPO on the right hand side.
