Do you think you could make another indicator that would add up all the values of the red and the green and plot a single line and also have an option to add up all the pairs that are red vs green and plot that (which would have a max of 56 levels?) ?

It is absolutely not clear how to use this indicator. If you use it, as the author writes, then the indicator shows a strong pair in the long, and the price goes short. And vice versa. The readings diverge from the real price movement.

@elormkay, @wolf300, @pvcomp. I am very sorry it took this long before replying you. I still very much use the PSA indicator by @Hanover {https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/513671-pair-strength-analyzer-indicator}, and also one of the best free trading indicator for MT4 platform by @Ferrufx. I only added a few indi's for better results.

The PSA latest version i believe is on the first page of this thread. Thanks.

If you're looking for confirmed trends, I would use the next significant (4-6 times) longer TF, e.g. H4 is four times longer than H1. If you're looking for advanced warning of a possible new move, I would use the next significant shorter TF, e.g. M15 is four times shorter than H1. I still use this amazing indicator to find the best pairs to trade daily. I always set the PeriodForRegr = 2 days and then look for opportunities using smaller TFs.
The rest is trial and error. One reason I like PSA as a strength indy is that you can combine TFs to get a consolidated result, e.g. set PeriodsForRegr = M15,H1,H4 And also a weighted average of regression lines: as one possible example, set LengthsForRegr = 5,5,10,20,30,50,100,200 (gives double weight to a 5 period regr line) Allowing multiple settings means that you can set the indy so that it's not unduly 'biased' toward one setting over another. Or conversely, you can bias/weight it any way that you want to. IMHO a lot of intraday moves are chop that is affected by S/D levels and heavyweight agendas, hence strength-based trend following works better on longer TFs. IMHO you got it right when you said "possible moves". There is no assurance that any move will run for 30+ pips. It depends on volatility, liquidity pools, clustering of (limit) orders, fundamental and other drivers. Or as TooSlow neatly explains why markets move the way that they do: {quote}

Latest updates to the PSA indicator:{file}1. The histogram facility has been updated to allow a user-defined font. Hence the CSM font (downloadable from this post) can be applied to give the result displayed in first screenshot below. If the font entry is omitted, the indicator uses the 'Wingdings' font as its default, like it did previously. (The effect in the screenshot is also created by setting the second entry to 73, which is the ASCII code for uppercase 'I')....
