Length = 6... is very sensitive. That's why I am using Length = 16. Why 16? 16 x 15 min charts is basically a 4 hour period. I don't have the patience to wait, so I take 5 - 10 pips and I get out.

You can't trade every signal you get... Look at the risky charts posted below. If you get 2 or more high swing points in a similar location, price is resisting to go up. The same is true for 2 or more low swing points, price is being supported.

that's very nice to clarify how to use your indicator but it's the first time i know that you set length to 16
i will try it again but i demo with ATR and trying to follow Walid dashboard to filter signals and share result later

I would recommend that you don't trade this system live... play, practice, make your own notes, etc. It's not mechanical, that means discretion is needed. I like mechanical systems and we are working towards finding a route to that...

I am still testing... anyways, as I always say - it's up to you, use it, don't use it, make it your own! If you follow Headlands posts, he is sharing what he is testing. Hopefully, amongst all of us, we find a better way.

Hi samsha786 !

I making all tests with default settings. Should I change them? do I need use something for filtering trade signals? For now just take all trades based only in your indicator signal 15 min charts.

I make today 23 trades on GBPUSD, EURUSD, EURNZD, CHFJPY, GBPNZD, EURAUD. So for now its 14 lose trade and 9 wins. How much pips and more detailed statistics i see tomorrow when updating myfxbook. Its small profit for now...

Don't get me wrong i tried it but i don't think you can win consistantly just with this, the signals came late, and you'll make a profit or not depending on pure luck, getting a good trend or not. I'm sure you have to combine them with further analysis or other indicators to avoid all the false trades when you account for the spreads.
Day 2 (of 5) test results, addendum.

Just looked back at those last 2 x 15min zz signals from my trading session today (no's 12 and 13 listed in the summary earlier today,) and both if traded, closed at a loss of -31, and -29 respectively making of the 8 15min signals today in my session, 6 winners and 2 losers if left to just hit stop or tp with no trade management. So a theoretical total of +60pips overall today on those available 15min signals in the trading session. Like y/day still positive re pip count. So my discretion like y/day produced better results after all, given these last 2 trade results (12 and 13) are now known.

The win rate so far (on these 8 pairings) on 15min signals left to hit tp or stop with no trade management across the 2 days' 4hr trading sessions (of 5 total) so far, is 68%. We'll see what day 3 brings but I think what is beginning to emerge for me is that my intervention/discretion @ entry and/or trade management and/or exit seems to be better. A small sample so far though so I'll reach a more indicative conclusion after the 5 day test is finished.

I will at the end of the 5 day test report on;

a. Whether trading 15min signals with 1hr/4hr zz direction is better or worse, or makes little difference.
b. Whether trading a 15min signal only with oscillator divergence is better or worse, or makes little difference

and,

c. Whether intervention/discretion overall is better or worse or makes little difference. And this one may be where it is at - but is so difficult to define beyond some broad brushstroke guidelines, and it is looking like it might not help very much those (like me) looking to mechanise this potential edge with definable rules.

Remember though that this 5 days x 4hr trading sessions (trading 8 pairings) forward test will still only be a small sample size and a short time duration, so as I have said before any conclusions are likely only to be indicative, not representative, as the sample size and time duration are both too small to be the later. To this extent whilst still a valuable exercise and importantly in the live forward market (not a back test,) some caution has to be applied.

I'm trying with settings you indicated in the first post but I don't see any zig zag line. Thank you!
