I placed 5 small trades for a small loss today.
Price is not trending, which is not conducive to profitable trading.

Trading has been very "up-n-down" for me since I last posted.
I have missed a few excellent entries that would have passed my FTMO account, with minimal risk.

Unfortunately I cannot be at my computer 24/7... and I don't know that my strategy can be automized.
When I can I have been taking valid enters that appear on the 5min and 15min charts... preference given to 15min time frame.

example... CADUSD 15min buy

I only achieve about 1:5 winning entries based on my rules, but the payoffs are big on the winners (if I don't close them early... I still panic occasionally after all these years).
Really, the winning RR ratio doesn't mean a thing if your winners pay off big... it's all about your bottom line each month.

I'm POSITIVE that other traders can take this entry method and improve on the strike rate.

Based on my years of experience using candlestick patterns like inside bars will not be useful in a short time periods and even in long time periods the result will be 50 to 50.

A very simple Strategy using Inside Bars in a Trending Market. Setup 1 - Determine Dollar trend direction on "DXY" using Daily & 4hr time frames. 2- Wait for an "InsideBar" on 15 min chart... Rest Assure some selfish failure lurker have already coded your method silently but is too Selfish fish to share your ideal indicator with the forum. Thats how they are around here. I have 2 great tool to code any honest coder around please make contact.
