EURUSD only

I rarely post here but today I am sounding an alarm because of a very rare pattern I observed today in FXE (the EURUSD etf).
Based on this rare bullish pattern I expect a very powerful move higher imminently (e.g. tomorrow morning and later).
Full disclosure: i have a 40+ lot exposure to it.

Well, for one the FXE captures the NY session primarily, high volume, thus prices are more significant.
The pattern is a wound up W which is more frequently encountered in commodities.
Once I saw this in the daily chart of BP (British Petroleum) on a Friday night.
The following Monday my BP call options rose 2000%.
Sometimes I've seen it in oil, SPCE and RSX (Russia's etf) before big moves.
It's a great pattern, unfortunately not very common.
My best guess is that some "news" will break out in the morning which will send EURUSD
initially toward 1.092. Later on Friday or Sunday/Monday it ought to reach 1.0973.
It may well go to 1.1088 but this may take a little longer.

DAILY S/R Levels for Friday

1. Bulls tried their extreme best to achieve a candle close above 1.0855, but no success.. Look at that f*cking long wick stretching up right from resistance.. Damn!... It is difficult not to think of the manipulative character of robber banks when you see long wicks like this.. but it is what it is. Thieves are thieves and we traders must act accordingly instead of ranting and whining!
2. That said, inside the last day of this week we must watch how supportive 1.0813 area is! Highly crucial level from here on!
3. If bears create momentum we would have 1.0748 as last man standing support!
4. If bulls can keep it above 1.0813 they still have to achieve a clear breakout from 1.0855..
5. Long story short: Bears have not vanished yet: trade safe!

🥹 so, now everything can happen, but I still staying at the bulls side, Trade safe!

I think we might see one last push up to 0860/0865 to completely absorb the 15m supply zone and clear remaining topside liquidity at that level, and then head back down to 0800 by tomorrow.

Usdx extension up clearly upside with or without full correction extension last leg up, that is below 100.41 and bounce as another leg up, is more lethal, but over it can extend the existing leg to further up. Likely it will fight for the weekly close 100.63, motive possible up, may down but should not like exact.
Similarly eu likely fight for 0809 weekly close, may or not able full correction 0860. After 0860 0874 next limit again for down. So bear in favor still, may a new low today. Apprehending a hard landing!

US yields and the Dollar got a boost to resume their rally yesterday after Jerome Powell effectively confirmed the Fed will hike rates by 50bps in May. However, with another record high EU CPI print, there is every chance ECB President Lagarde follows it up with a hawkish speech of her own later today.

EUR/USD has been testing what appears to be an important psychological level at 1.0850 this week, and any indication of an earlier rate hike by the ECB could help push the pair back above this resistance.

All trading carries risk, but it should be interesting to see how this pair trades heading into the weekend as volatility could spike today.

Ok brother.. looking at your clean monthly chart I can fully agree with your bullish anticipation.. I too expect a bounce up somewhere at these lows based on my monthly chart below. Here are my quick thoughts:

1. Based on GANN lines: The yellow zone is the most critical support and 1.0730 is sort of a "last man standing" edge that mustn't be violated if we want this bullish idea to stay valid! I prefer that candles never close below the yellow line to be honest. Any dips lower than 1.0810 feels bitter!
2. Based on Harmonics: Long time ago I spotted a Bullish Bat that I had almost forgotten but here we can see it fits perfectly with Gann lines. 1.0830 is exactly fib 88.6 that technically completes the D leg of the bat. We can see that wicks have exceeded this level a little bit but overall the pattern is still valid as long as X: 1.0635 doesn't get violated.
3. What does that say?: To me, it means we could have a bounce up again BUT: best scenario is that price stays above or at least inside the yellow zone. Since this is the monthly chart, it can take weeks and even months until we see bulls truly kicking in (...with the assumption that the bat pattern doesn't fail. Since X leg is quite low deeper revisits are still possible and dangerous for those with poor money management!)
4. As a result: A trader should not want things to happen. We trade what we see! Therefore, best is to watch carefully how price behaves when it comes closer to 1.0810 and always risk your money after detecting clear bullish signs intraday wise.
