usdx bull survived this time but not enough, still to correct down to have this new bull set up, price below 100.13 breaks already and hold may signal

today CPi News I think will be very bad so I take more risk longing extra this pair from here and will add some more under till 1.0850-40 when comes there, I already have some longs from this area, have a nice day, later

Morning NickyK! It got stopped out but I re-entered at that level with a set of trades that I could permit myself to take thanks to the conditions at the time, that level having become the high of range, etc.

My yesterday's last 5 shares were very close to each other. It probably seemed to be of higher risk, but it was not. A quite natural 1H pullback could just as well take them out. That level needs to say <55 for more chances of survival, in my view...

Yesterday, I was anticipating, in light of the trend's quality, an early enough drop before the cascade of news, Just in case it would drop enough to diminish the chances of any dancing volatile news wicks affects. It helped to safely gather a few surviving trades, 8 new shorts yesterday and 4 today. I lost a lot, especially at BE, and worked extra, closed a couple at usual TP to cover most losses. Sometime it works, sometime it doesnt but, on the long run, it is worth it. This time I am hopeful for my >09 ! Important to be careful when determining the right time to do it of course. Easier said than done!
So, it was a crazy rare day for my trading and also for my sharing. For those of you that have been negatively impacted by it, please accept my deepest apologies. And don't worry, today there will be none of all of that, and my wrist will also be happier along with you!

Thanks for explaining your play mtako, I need to dissect your explanation fully because their is definitely gems in there, I haven't taken a Eur/Usd in few weeks now, I tried day trading on and off for just over 2 years with very limited success, my brain just isn't wired right for day trading day trading for me personally required a skill set I lack, I'm envious of anyone who can handle that constant pressure, I swing trade using tech/fundamental, the slower pace I found just fitted me better, I find with swing trading I could "see"?! fundamentals analysis, my mind needs to at least attempt to understand why the market moves up or down other than relying on technicals/price action alone, I just can't seem to trust my technical analysis without using fundamentals....damn I wish I could explain myself better

IMO, the things that MOST traders use (from books) they will form to TRAP the traders and after that the market will do JUST THE OPPOSITE and take their stops.

People point out the US CPI, I think if it's high, it will have an immediate impact which will cause S L hunting, but by the end of the session, eu will go up to a higher position.

No matter how high inflation will be in the US, it will be higher in Europe.

Yes, we can see typical SL hunt before direction change, thats normal so for buyers decent SL is needed, cheers!

My MAIN setup on the left is the EUR (top) and DXY (bottom) the other 2 instruments are "THE SECRET" but as you can see, they're EXACTLY like TWINS. How can this exist?

I hv noticed the juxtaposition of chart patterns btn the dxy and EU. Even th harmonic paintings its the same. Hope it's time fr a reversal. Iam tempted to go long
