Hi Jess,

As per your request please find below an image of the settings below. As previously stated if you select either 'Buy Only' or 'Sell Only' from the drop down box the EA will not open any trades. I would like the opportunity to set the EA up to ONLY take either buy or sell trades on a chart (not both as shown in the screenshot). Hope that made sense.

I tried this method, and did some tests but its works fine the problem is that you will not get a lot of money trading it, it's good if you want to earn little money but overall very slow gain. I did 12% on one pair for 10 years which is literally nothing unless you want to invest your money very long term.

I strongly encourage you to do some more research on this thread and then a little experimentation after as well. There can be several much more profitable settings derived from this wonderful strategy smilee89 provided.

Why not a smaller TP with a higher lot size, if the win rate is high?

Hello! I could not answer questions and post a report for two weeks because I was on a business trip in a very far place from civilization.The adviser worked exactly a month.Roboforex.3 pairs. The initial deposit is 5000. 1:2000 . the initial lot is 0.01. I got a question:
I tested xm7_DOS_v2 and xm_DOS_v3.01 with the same settings (but daily target, which is absent from v2, but was set to 150% so shouldnt have any impact), over the same pair same period of time, and I have two different outcomes:

v2 gives:

Thanks for a great system I am testing on live acc Global Prime broker xmess EA.

I have a question regarding TP.

Why does it close some trades at a new candle ie 13.00 see image? See my tradehistory the last 24 hrs.

Also sometimes I see "lost profits" because somehow the EA waits to close the trades till at a later stage (new candle) and often price retraces and it results in less profits...

eventually can be solved with a trailing system.. or a second EA.. that trail already open trades.. if we can not change the source code of the dos

I am also running both side by side, same pair, same TF, 2 diff magic nb

I got the feeling that only longs are triggered using v3.01.
which is strange because I do not have any restriction on that...

Another question, for intraday trading: is there a way to include a function to turn on / off the EA at selected time periods?

In order to develop this strategy even better, I need some more data of trades history.
Can you please upload the history of the trades of your account? (full statement including all trades and not only the summary that you uploaded)

I stopped for now.. because the 3.1 version.. made big DD at gold.. and so on.. i used LevLev setfile combination.. thx LevLev for your work.. I will wait .. a little bit more

Hi all,

Is there anyone who could change some code in the xm7_DOS_v3.01?

I would like to implement the following 2 changes if possible.

1. The ability to change the progression i.e, instead of 1,1,1,1,1, the user may wan't to specify 1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3 or 1,2,2,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,3,3,3 etc etc.

2. ONLY ADD to loosing positions when a new specified 'candle size' bar forms.

Gold never gives me good DD. Some traders here advise that this strategy is stable if you look for symbols with good DD, instead of huge profit.

I allowed myself a late entrance, which shows that you can enter levels better than when you open the new candle. I have set the amount of the profit at 100 for gold because it is very volatile. I guess this also applies to xau/eur and xau/gbp.

Is this lot size for each input or common to all operations. If we have 6 inputs, does that mean that each input is 0.18 or just divide by 0.18 / 6 and we get an input for the day 0.03 ???
