when scripting, fibo levels are by default yellow. how do i change the color?

After drawing the first fibo use the following steps:

 

  1. Press Ctrl+B or alternatively in Chart area right click and then select "Object List".
  2. From the list of objects select "fibo" and then click the Edit botton.
  3. On "Fibo" dialog box select the "Fibo Levels" tab.
  4. Change the "Style" color to the desired one.
  5. Click OK and close the objects list tab.

yeah ic an do that, but i was asking "when scripting" i.e. when you create fibo levels via mq4 script

I believe you can change the colour with the following proprty within ObgectSet() function.

<TABLE class=docenums cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=4 width="95%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>OBJPROP_LEVELCOLOR</TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
I've never done this though.

Did you mean;how to change the color of only one level?For example,i wanna use white but just wanna make fibo 23.6's color red..?

Have a look at the code in this indicator. I use it to change the colours when i have multiple fibs up.

Honestly, I see this all the time in the forums about 'why do people resurrect old posts?'. Reality check, it's for people looking for answers to the same questions you were probably looking for years ago...

Much like all the RTFM posts and trolls on forums sniping people that have honest questions when they're seeking answers.

I'm always trawling forums looking for answers, and agreed @Macd-rsi, things are always independent of the time.

Just because someone found the answer 10 years ago doesn't mean everyone else did at the same time.

...and @hanover, I'm glad you did resurrect the post as I found the answer i was looking for, at least in part.

pls can anyone help me with this thread

i do not know anything about coding.

But if anyone can, pls help me script the following fib levels

0 stoploss
1 entry
2 1.1
2.5 1.1.5 main target (dodger blue)
4 1.2
5 1.3

I'm trying to create a risk to reward tool, where all fib levels are all white except for level 3 main which should be dodger blue.
I can appreciate if i can just copy and paste the script, without having to figure out whats what.

Could be done I suppose but no one has time to make an effort at this time of year.

A poor-man's way of doing that would be to apply the standard Fib Tool twice

Use the white settings on the 1st instance and the blue settings on the 2nd instance

A lot of work if you have multiple charts

Or try Codebase or mql5.com surely someone has asked for this previously
