oh, nice mate ! Me, I will happily take losses if bears take it back below 1266, and even more<.11, but if .144 before I will be safe like you . I am patient. My TPs are, for now, >.155.

I find this indecision quite normal given all of what is at play. I believe I have shared my switch to longs and reasons in my posts a couple weeks ago. Now, I am pretty heavily in long especially from 1290 to 1330. This ranging created many range trades Ive held on to and helped me to closed some at BE or small profit with short setups, and get better entries actually and without much effort. I don't often do that though, it all depends on ranging quality, and it is not often this good on so many timescales is it !

Around 10 days back, I've talked about my belief that without no .141 breakout at that moment would bring about even more stubborn ranging. I never say " I told you so" because it is meaningless in a business of infinite perspectives.

But watching closely for a well deserved attempt at breaking that ranging spell ! .1366 to .141 one day move would work wonders. What is >1366 for me? It's not only in the highs of most of this ranging, all perspectives included. It is also the most importantly rejected high on the daily for the last 7 trading days. Any trade with a TP there in the last 7 days was happy. Will today be another that reaches it, 8th in a row, and, if not, would that mean another change in dynamics? Keeping in mind the corresponding lows have not been attacked half as often, even though we've had more messing around mid-lows. But warning to myself, no>1366 soon and the worst it gets for my long term longs, little by little...

These important attacks need to bring something to the table eventually, but they have to keep happening !

I moved SL at BE. I took profit here though also with a scalp because could hold as support.

Hi, Is there any kind of indicator that can detect EURUSD is trapped in a zone M5 /M15/ H1/ H4? Need to differentiate between zone trap and break out events, required for cross validation of supportive trade decision making?

There is also a wedge being created on the 4H chart , this to me is showing a breakout to the downside also could be a fakeout and breakout above . The zoned we are seing now show alot of liquidation on the 1H chart also .

Trust me, there will never be a "non-lagging" indicator that does that. The least-lagging and simplest indicator is still a basic MA (moving average or bollinger-bands if you want a channel). You will make sure that the value you use for this MA doesn't turn it too fast and also doesn't turn it too slow.. Depending on what you are after on the timeframe you are trading, you will make sure to optimize your settings accordingly and then act careful as soon as that line gets flat (flows horizontal).. but again: it still will be lagging!

People often stick to a basic "support and resistance" indicator.. But those are never perfect either.. Because what institutions and books and traders all see as support or resistance is highly subjective and will vary from calculation to calculation..

Anyway, that's my humble opinion. I hope it answers your question.
