Always remember that we trade immediate trend.

Don't pay attention to other people's M5 charts. You won't find analytics to trade from there. Always trade multiple time frames, you are doing great.

Hi Strat,
As you suggested, I will post my trade here, but it won't be of any value to the viewers if they don't come back and analyze it multiple time frames.

Sorry I didn't draw this zone. It marks where the price hesitates. When the price returned to this zone, did you see what the price did with it.
Let's go back and look at it on M1, you will see everything more clearly

I don't trade EURNZD on M5 because the spread is too wide.
EURNZD: Thinking about stop loss, place it at swing high or swing low. Look for entries on the pullback as you did on EURJPY and AUDUSD.
AUDUSD good profit. But you are trying to buy to resistance for some pips.

Hope I can help you!

Corinna,

Not sure if you still come on to FF but a little while ago I commented on the significance of the shadow crossing on the EURUSD Boss chart.

Here is a shot of the chart I was talking about and also a shot of the NZDJPY worker chart with a similar pattern of S/R.

Doesn't always stand out like this but depending on the pair and its layout it can be a very helpful tool.

The more you study and use the Strat shadow, the more it becomes clear that you don't really need anything else for successful trading.

Regards
Terry

You seams mistaken ..that is not why PRICE has done what it has done... .PRICE does not care historical strat shadow crossing. if its very recent and more importantly there are other confluences happen at the same level (and the fundaaamentals support) then PRICE would react.. send me a PM if you want to discuss..dont want to talk about it in here as that would clutter this great thread..

TerryDawe, I've checked through all the 28 of the major currency pairs that we usually trade again, I find that we can't use the shadow crossing for support and resistance just as Suran said "PRICE does not care historical Strat shadow crossing." Especially for pairs that trend for a long time maybe for years, the crossing become insignificant for the purpose. And for ranging pairs, there will be too many crossing horizontally to let us decide which one to take.

But it is of no harm to draw a line on the chart to remind us to be careful.Just like any other S&R lines, price might reverse or break out from them. These are places where we can take some profit.

Corinna

Suran, since the thread is very quiet lately, it is good to discuss all our ideas regarding the Strat method openly so that we all can learn from one another. Be it right or wrong, we learn from our mistake.

Thanks to both you and Suran for your comments.

It is true that this alone is not sufficient but when there is confluence with other things such as BRN, 200ema, fib levels etc. I find it useful to have it marked on my charts.

Terry

That support have nothing to do with Shadow crossing my friend.. having a fixed mindset in trading will be detrimental to your future development..but if that works for you then who are we to say it otherwise..

futhermore the confluences I mentioned are not fibs..nor round numbers..
