In recent times… RECENT.. (there have been others) two traders who have gone out of their way to help other forum members, both in their own unique style… both who trade, with nothing to sell, with no reward and little thanks, Pete (TimeTells) and BW!
If a trader wants to pick up some clues, perhaps the missing piece of the puzzle to their own preferred way of trading, those two are well worth listening to/and reading. Pete for his charts and steadfast resilience to sticking to what he knows works for him, and BW for calling a dumbass a dumbass and who may possibly have given Pete extra confidence and a leg over…. I mean leg up

How do you know exactly it's not enough and not entirely misleading?
You won't find out anywhere as a newbie forex trader that Forex market is a utilitarian market majority. That it was not meant for speculation. That speculation account for only less than 15%.
To me, this info should be the very first information anyone interested in Forex trading should know. Then we wouldn't have people who believe that forex is a zero sum game, that someone must lose for others to gain.
Newbies would know what is happening when they click that buy/sell button. That they're actually holding a currency as an investment hoping it will appreciate then sell it at a higher price.
They would know there's no such thing as stop hunt because they would know what a stoploss is exactly. That's it's an order to sell the currency you now own at this worse possible price you're comfortable with.
They would never fall victims to these stupid terms that always pop on on forex like "market marker levels" or "Institution levels"
I was laughed and rediculed by a red sticker guru here in the beginning by stating the fact that a stoploss is just another pending order to sell. He laughed so hard, to him I was so stupid. Why? Because he's spent year and years studying "forex education" that's out there. He's a victim.
For these points, wouldn't you perhaps say yes certainly people are being mislead?

The OP is spot on. TA is junk. The only money to be made in 'technical analysis' is selling it to other people who are gullible enough to believe in it. 99.99% of retail traders fail and lose money within 5 years. But every year a fresh influx of 'suckers' are drawn in. I believe this is because peddlers of day trading and TA are not regulated like fund managers and accountants are.
