I had posted earlier that "We are judged by the friends we keep". But it goes deeper than that. We may not be aware, but we also judge ourselves by the friends we keep. So, though you know that ryuryu is a dick, you choose his company because he pats you on the back. Maybe you need that pat on the back to keep you going -- I don't know. But it comes with a price. Everything comes with a trade-off -- both in trading and real life.

It’s got nothing to do with pats on the back.

Gold has a average density of just over 150 units per minute as seen on a futures chart. As market orders are applied to this liquidity, we get increasing size of delta in a series of bars before it flips. There is a point in the market where the flipping of delta is only valid If you are long or short in the direction of increasing volume.
It’s a number and he knows it.

What I fear is ryuryu finding something else I may have missed. Can’t let the kid get one up on me.

BN -- I'm surprised and disappointed in you. You upload an image with two charts that aren't labeled -- and that is supposed to prove your point? Either you aren't as smart as I thought you were or you think we are more stupid than we actually are.

I hope this letter find you in good health.

I hate Gurus, forex Gurus because they are notorious and known for misleading a lot of people, bringing nothing but missery to them. They teach 100 students a 'strategy' and only 10 become successful, by successful I mean, they themselves become Gurus not that they become profitable.

These new 10 Gurus will worship this old Master so much that the rest, 90 students who's not making profits after the Guru's lessons, complaints will be overshadowed by these 10 worshipers. These new Gurus will call these 90 students all sort of names just to make them feel stupid that it's their fault they're not successful.

And the cycle keep going on and on.

You're the only person in this thread who's advertising Guru skills and you have worshipers too. To me you meet all the Red flags of being one of the Guru's I dearly hate, so so so much.

For you to continue posting on this thread, please make a TE showing your trading performance for the last 90 days, Demo or Live doesn't matter. You can use any other platforms such as myfxbook if you don't like forex factory's TE.

If you cannot fulfill this simple request. Please don't explain why you cannot. Please don't even reply to this letter. You can just stop and don't ever post again. You have nothing to lose.

It never recovered.

I am not smartest guy on earth, that’s true, but there is no reason to be rude…

I asked simple question without bias ..

Do they look like 98% correlation… It is what I wont to know… Your pictures are correlated. I can see this. Tell me how you see mine, and please save me your personal attacks, I know who I am very well.

Doesn’t matter what it is what TF it is… do they look like 98% correlation, simple as that.

Fair enough -- you have your priorities. Sort of a shame you got dragged into this -- ryuryu seems to have that affect on people.

I'll avoid mentioning you in future posts -- or, at least not in a negative way. ryuryu is a different story. It's too easy to push his button and he deserves to be mocked and ridiculed.

BN -- correlations are not computed by visual inspection, so your charts are irrelevant. I provided a link and reference to an analysis that was done 10 years ago. I did not do the analysis -- I simply shared the results. The results include a table with some statistical results. Read them as you wish.

I also shared a picture of a tick volume indicator with markings that included how it might be traded. If it doesn't make sense to you that's fine. I was simply making the points that:

1. Others have concluded that tick volume correlates well with real volume. This should make you feel good. Since real volume data is not readily available then knowing that tick volume might be good enough may open some new doors for you. If you are not looking for new doors then that's fine, too.

2. Tick volume may be good enough for trading -- as the indi shows.

Where was my crime? I know I'm missing something here but I'm not sure what it is.

You did not give me a context to your drawings either, not any research, papers... but I answered to QUESTION anyway, you did not answered mine.

So lets do other way round... do you see any correaltion of this pictures, please? You have already my answer...

BN -- read my lips. Correlation is a statistical computation. It is not done by subjective, visual inspection. Dude -- it's statistics, math, algebra. You can compare two pictures, but whether or not they correlate depends on what metrics are applied. Here's one for you -- does Tel Aviv correlate with San Francisco?

But back to the point ...
I heard that you are going for a walk with the dog .. on a walk with the dog you will have three legs on average. But if you go for a walk with five dogs, you will have an average of 3.66 legs ... fear to think what it would be like if you had 10 dogs to lead.
The tick volume correlation on the D1 level reaches 98%, on the M1 level the correlation is useless.

Okay -- whatever...

It wasn't my analysis. If you don't like the result then take it up with Caspar Marney, who authored the work and published the analysis. And be sure to include your evidence as to why M1 level correlation is useless. We wouldn't want to spread any more misleading information on this thread, right?
