Just did some digging,theres a volume indicator at 'clusterdelta' its free for 7 days then you got to pay for it after that period,cheers...

however, only wanted to mention a public repainting indicator. i took from here. and it rocks big big big time for me. it is nearly my absolute private monster for showing the right delta, if you could catch what i mean, without explaining it publicly here, please.

i twisted her in my way i usually twist an indi and she is simply wonderful. hard to see any value in the original indi, the way she is originally built... kept the repainting and this does not bother me at all...

When I came to his channel, he realized that I was competing with him and started whining that my risk was too big. It's his dick too small, not my risk too big. But I don’t run into his topic and don’t write nasty things there on behalf of someone else.

So, let's finish the thread.

Hmmm -- that's interesting. I seem to recall a particular member boasting that he charges $200 / hr to mentor struggling traders. And then when it was pointed out to him that it probably wasn't a good idea to be so obvious about it, he then spends his next 50 posts saying he doesn't charge.

Yes you can say it, but just because you say it doesn't make it true. What is the basis for that statement? Any evidence?

Oh, you're back again? Aren't you the fella who has one EA that throws errors on one machine and, yet, believes it is due to a MetaQuotes conspiracy and not a coding error? Do you really want to revisit this? Why not just let it go... Perhaps it's because you're still feeling embarrassed but now feel braver thinking ryuryu is on your side and will back you up. You know, like two against one. Just be careful who you choose as a friend. As RickM is learning, ryuryu is poison to your reputation...

Thread has gone from kind of interesting, to constant fighting. Not much value in it, since there is apparently no middle ground. I forget who said it, but basically its down to, "we both can't be right so you must be wrong" there is no resolution to this conflict.

The point of the thread WAS to be controversial -- so it's no surprise there would be disagreement and tension. And don't bother lecturing about being polite. As a red badge you've been around FF long enough to know how people are. I'd say the thread is working perfectly and just as expected.

I didn't say a word about being polite. The thread in the beginning was about trading, it doesn't seem to be anything but personal attacks now. From my point of view I see no value in reading posts of people going after each other. Just my opinion not claiming any moral highground, if thread suits you or anyone else, enjoy.

I really dont get why you brought here profitfarmer, as long as you are aware that he is unable to post in this thread. Not very elegant from your side. Definitely not what a gentleman would do.

I remember very well that you left the channel, without saying a word, even if you stayed in there for quite some time. No one banned you from there, it was your call.

I am not here to defend profitfarmer, because he is a big boy and i suppose he would do it by himself (provided he would be able to).

But I will only say this: profitfarmer is the only trader I witnessed on FF posting a profitable TE for a live account with significant equity for more than 1 year, even more than 18 months (i do not recall exactly). Indeed, the profits were not 50% per month, but rather between 5 and 10%. Each month. He also has an active thread here on FF with his journey with a big broker, I suppose you know that too.

So if you say that he is a bad trader, i wont debate it with you, since everything is relative, as we all know. Of course, for an awesome trader like you making 10-30% a day and probably 200-500% a month, it is reasonable to say that another trader making 5-10% a month is far from being impressive. And I would agree with you. But the only issue i have with this is that i have never ever seen your TE, demo or live, not for 1 day, not even for an 100 euro account.

Do you see any discrepancy in here?

I didn't mean to imply you said anything about being polite -- I was just prepared in case that came up.

In addition to being controversial this thread has served another purpose -- do you know what a "Honey Pot" is? It's like a trap for bad apples. So, instead of the bad apples running around other threads spreading their rottenness we can concentrate everyone here, in one thread. And I include myself as a bad apple. I like rattling chains -- especially those of the arrogant and pompous members...

I need to clear this up.

I spend a lot of my time trading the forex markets with my closest friend here on Forex Factory who is Zoltan.
Thats Profitfarmer for those that don’t know and he is without doubt the most professional trader I have met and worked with in the last few years.
He is a trader who understands the hardships of our game, he’s someone who supports and encourages me to be honest to myself first, before ensuring I’m in the right mind frame to trade my own strategy according to my trading plan.

I just finished a month trading out of 57th & 6 Avenue in New York, which required me to get out of bed at 3am to trade the London market. It was cold and lonely by myself in the hotel room, I needed a chat with Zoltan on many mornings before I started trading just as much as I needed a hot cup of coffee.

You need a friend in this game who you can trust, one who is also a great trader as well helps more than you can realise.

Then comes along a trader called ryuryu who joined our small group a while back who was arrogant, rude, cockie, over confident, overbearing, boastful, egotistic -
Yes, just the right ingredients to perhaps become a successful professional scalper because he has no fear.
Fearless trade execution with conviction
An example of his mindset and confident is he has no fear of opening a 10 lot position on a Gold trade 8 minutes before a red news event and still nails them.
Many traders here would be too scared to do that even on a demo account, and probably still shit their pants.

What interested me most about ryuryu was he gets my shit, understands how I read liquidity and how I trade liquidity imbalances. He just worked it out himself, I was just a catalyst to push him in the right direction.

You guys just haven’t seen him work his wares, we lock horns trading for a short time most nights and it’s mayhem. I know you guys will dislike him, I just know talent when I see it.

An example of a volume indicator -- the purple line in the subwindow is pure tick volume. The yellow vertical lines mark crossings with the 0-level. Does anyone see a pattern? Not perfect, but when combined with a filter indie then it's pretty darn accurate for predicting short trends that last a bar or two. When trading H1 that can be an easy 20-40 Pips on most symbols. This may not be decentralized, raw, virgin real volume data like RickM uses (but refuses to reveal the source), but tick volume can be "good enough" if used in the right hands...

PPS: Whereas RickM prefers hand-waving and creating stories about liquidity imbalances, absorption manipulation -- which is fine and sounds very creative -- I prefer simple and just trade what I see. All those fancy-dancy terms just clutter and confuse my pretty head...

As for ryuryu -- what you write about him means shit. He is a dick. He is not fearless -- he is a spoiled brat with extra cash to burn. Growing up with a silver spoon in your mouth does not make you brave trading large lot sizes. I wonder how he would trade if he had grown up in Soweto. He is damaged goods and shouldn't be trusted. If you ever decide to climb Mt. Everest I suggest that you not count on him to help you along the way. He would abandon you in a flash...

In a way it's kind of sad that you would choose a trading buddy such as ryuryu. Sounds like Zoltan is a better choice.

And you are old enough to know better. We are judged by the company we keep...

I just don’t think we should be talking badly about any trader on these forums. Many are scarred from years of trading losses and bitterly disappointed with their recent performance. They like to lash out at other traders or tell lies to boost their own ego to protect themselves from stress or anxiety.

I recommend you build a football team around you as a trader. You need a strong captain to control the game and protect your equity, you need a cocky confident forward to score goals when nothing is on offer, you just need utilise your players skills for the good of the team and accept some player will get the occasional get red cards.

If you are a Manchester United fan, I think you know what I am talking about.

I agree with your comment about life being hard -- no doubt it can be brutal. But would you trade places with someone who lived 100 years ago? Probably not. We have become so spoiled that now when a little rain falls we use that as an excuse to complain and whine.

Most adults are no different than two-year olds -- just in big bodies. Lashing out at other traders, lying to protect yourself from stress? Come on -- give me a break. What immature responses those are.

So -- on your football team what role do you and ryuryu play? I would certainly choose you to be on my team, but never ryuryu. I like football, but I would hate having to play with him, win or lose. As much as I hate losing, I hate crappy teammates even more...

And, in fact, if I found myself in a situation where I needed to trade with him to make money or keep me from being lonely, I would find a different hobby real quick. Life is too short to be spending that much time with a dick...

PS: Back to this stress thing. I consider it nonsense to condone that someone can use 'stress' as an excuse for being a dick. We all experience stress in our lives at different times. An adult male should respond in a way that shows strength and maturity -- i.e. to set an example for his children, to make his children feel safe even in a storm. It is an immature child who would use stress as an excuse to lash out at others.
