Meanwhile, on Weekly

  1. Bulls have finally found their wings.. When I shared this chart for the very first time, the GREEN ma line was my T1 target and it now sits roughly around: 1.1522/33 area!
  2. For bears, I am marking 1.1375 as most crucial level.. Starting from tomorrow and/or during next week, it could act as strong support!
  3. Overall, we could say that this rally is definitely raising the chances of a bullish reversal, BUT of course while candles are still below my GREEN line, nothing is for sure yet! This is still "bulls trying to break out from the falling wedge". Retests to previous lows are not off the table yet since this rally can last only for so long as bulls can maintain momentum!

I hope it helps

Oh boy! am I m glad I wasn't on the wrong side of that shyte! That's what 180 PiPs?! FYI, as somebody flat with no stakes in the move and a slight understanding of the mofo, just back from properly celebrating my personal record https://resources.faireconomy.media/....png?v=1.0.0.3 https://resources.faireconomy.media/....png?v=1.0.0.3, despite the aversion to alcohol of some of you dudes from foreign lands; here's the thing: A down retr. is very possible BUT won't go below 1.137 Not even...

It took forever for the bulls to get in control. And even now we don't know yet whether it will break out above 1.1480.

I guess bulls getting laid already. The move had no reason or grounds. How can a currency appreciate so hard upon no news and zero interest rates? Did investors celebrate that ECB didn't go negative with rates which would promote more inflation? :-)

Actually we all know this kind of breakout (from 1.1x to 1.144x in 4 days) is not sustainable. I was expecting 1.133x area but this is something different. I don’t think anyone sane (apart from scalpers) would continue to buy from here today and tomorrow. May be only short squeezing. I have a good short position opened from 1.1422 and 1.1437 . I am so confident pullback will come in short to mid term I can forget that money till then as I always do. May be tomorrow may be next 1 or 2 weeks. TP 1.1353 a bit above ma50. Good luck all.
(it’s around 1.1442 when I write this, 1.1470 should be top and happily I would add some more sells there no issue)
Its not an advice and sorry for grammar.

What a day. I got steamrolled over. Still short but this move is a little too much little too fast. So I added to my shorts at 1.1369, 1.1402 and 1.1440. I did however sell almost all my shorts when EUR spiked down when the interest rate data came out, but not everything. So now short from an average price of 1.13369. Wish me luck. This has to pull back.

I suspect bulls gonna push it further to 1.1520, just to cut off the poor short retail positions of which there are many, I believe. This is so steep that it'll convince you to go short. As someone here mentioned, no-one sane would go long from here. That's it. Better stay on the sidelines for now.

{quote} So you intuit they are going to drive it further up to get billions of stops and yet you think going long is crazy? ...it is psychologically hard, but it's the only rational thing to do.
Ignored
Not really. My point is I would not be surprised they do so (take it to 1.152x, because most people will think it is crazy - just like someone else in this thread earlier today - and that enables the market makers generate profit). My point is I would definitely not go short from here, nor would I go long. I don't feel comfortable doing anything now as I don't like being fucked around. :-D

Trading plan for tomorrow: full hedge, dumping half at the high, the other half gets a sensitive trail stop

I expect the new high to be printed 1-10 pips higher

Hi All,

i'm since Tuesday on trip till tomorrow so not write a lot, but as i said yesterday today and tomorrow can be very shaking day beacuse today ECB and tomorrow NFP.

Generally wehn i look literally for today ECB that i can say that she said...nothing, but i feel that market just needed a little spar to go up with EUR ( specially if i look for GBP and JPY, where USD remain strong). Generally Legarde said only that they will look for data and on March can say something new about next steps but not said direct that they will rise interest rate in this year, ok she starting to talking about CPI, but still FED is more Hawkish and from fundamental side USD should rise in next month in rule: buy rumors sell facts ( fact will be that FED rise interest rate on March )).

So since next MOnday ( beacuse tomorrow i suppose will be next turmoil on market) i will rade shorts on EURUSD after dust fall down.

What convince me?
- USD not lots power vs JPY and GBP ( here we se typical buy rumors sell facts)
- 10yUSBond and 2yUSBond are selling ( percentage rate is growing up )
- Gold not rise
- even that ECB will rise interest rate in this year, that will be soonest on JUly and max in this year 25bps, to compare FED can rise from 4 to 5 time time starting on March

Thank if somebody read it all and that is only my poitn of view, but any remarks are welcome.

Best Regards

I'm getting a strong feeling this isn't gonna come down and I need to get long right now and close my sell. Somethings not rite for selling that is I can see the wave up is not complete. This move up today does not seem to be complete.
Strong feeling we're just gonna steam on through to 1550 1600. I closed sell and buy again at 14333

From my point of view its a fail breakout. Just crossed the weekly down trend line and I expect it to follow that trend. Fibo retracement 23,6% is the line of decision. Never the less sold at 1.14353 with SL 1.14575. No TP set yet.

Cheers
