Sell stop 11399 moved up 1.11424 But SL would have to be moved at BE when 1131 is hit as I see bulls lurking there also. I see them everywhere ! Bull managed to shift up the range a bit !

Boy, wicks have gotten worse, not good for the tight stops I could have before. I cannot move previous at BE as planned, but my 1150 (low of 15min setup)SL would be moved down to 1170 when 11424 hit, if ever hit

manually closed 1st short @ 1.1148. not buying. if my other 2 shorts dont trigger im calling it an early day. was a good week anyways. no way im buying possible pullbacks on a friday 2nd last day of the month with so many possible close points and the bearish picture to represent hope you all have a nice weekend if i get a trigger warning ill pop by lmao

I think If bears cant get it back below 1120 soon(where I have a too strong 4H setup that would be confirmed), I will be looking at buying for 1180 at least.

Lets see how the 1240s holds. Looks good, but volatility is still growing so much so I know anything can still happen and fast, and either way now.

Almost a coin toss still for me, still a little more bearish intraday, the longer we stay under 1155.

Watching closely as low of 1H is close to being tested. With this volatility, I know that just that could be a game changer. If I was in long already, that would be my stop.

.11424 triggered, .1150 SL moved at .1170, to be moved at BE at 1136, which would finally bring my risk level way down.

Forgot to mention SL is quite a surprise bag for my 11424, because it is the high +2ticks of the next bull 1H candle, and is also the TP. But a tiny bit more probable It will be moved to BE before. 9 pips to go for much less risk trading ! Ahhhh if only "probable" is all that mattered in trading. Alas, more often than not, another completely different scenario happens anyways, as many there are of those ! as many as stars that burn in our infinite universe

Ahhhhh ranging..... Take your 10 pips and get out you say!?

I took profits at 1.1165 and holding only the orginal buy from 1.1207. So 32 pips banked. Letś see if this thing can continue or will fall back

Current 1H canlde should close over 1.1172 to we can attack today 1.12 level ( IMHO i think we can today reach 1.1205 level ).

If we again retunt to downdirection then i'll strongly consider to close all my todays longs and finihs trade for this week.

I planned to join you after plays in early 1130s, if bulls managed to bring it back above the old range well enough. Missed the boat completely.

Bulls failed once too many times at >1165. See those 3 bumps at resistance.
Most importantly, price went back down below after that 3rd try, and is now attacking the very important 3rd attempt's main 5min candle, low at 1149, breaking also the mid range and winning the title of : Ranging hero of the day!

Last shared trade was from the 3rd highs 10th stalled candle low break of it. Which seemed like added risk, but really was not, given all circumstances(decreasing of volatility, level, trend strength, ranging conditions strengthening, time of day....)

For now, I have 4 musketeers 1165, 1161 1152, 1150(survived miraculously by a point!). Lost one on the way -24. Looks awfully risky. Looks can be deceiving, in ranging. Some ranging conditions I can trade well, and with consistent enough results, but sometimes needs large SL and smaller and smaller TPs, all dynamic, depending on the ranging's evolution. Much easier in appearance, much tougher in reality, at least for me and for consistent enough results on the long run.

All SLs will move quickly as the range shifts, ranging conditions force them to, the change in dynamics is important to factor in. My SLs have changed a lot, some widened, other shortened. Also some TPs have been shortened, some I will leave open in case of a Friday miracle, if survives. Yeah, even for my long-term entry it has changed, could close it soon... Thats what happens sometimes, as ridiculous as that sounds. But Its best on the long term for these setups of mine.

If you followed this and could grasp it all with your own chart , I am impressed, appreciative, and humbled and would be even a tiny bit flattered that anyone is interested in my thoughts and also in such unconventional approach(need a very open mind I know!), and I also know how complexity is not most people's cup of tea, and of course not in any way a "better way" to do anything. I dont believe in any better way. As long as it works !

New sell stops : 1146 and 1132 and 1.11215(replacing previously shared 1125), attacking the low of the mean mean , and OH so lonely 1H 40 pips Bull candle that is still begging to be broken and closed over, on either end.

Why oh why does Mtako risk so much one moment and not the next? All illusions? As risk is relative and depends on so many other factors, from other positions to price state. And it also depends on the evolution of price, in the moment and price's inherent qualities. Why I stay in, why I only enter if in profit, why when I already have a loss, why at the bottom at this awful time, why at the top... There are always calculated reasons, that take many factors in consideration, and the effect of which can be seen with the big picture. All my shares together can perhaps give a clearer picture, but still would not be enough as big parts of it all, like scalps, dynamic TP and SL, MM, cannot be easily shared live. Good for you to not judge any trader by a portion of his/her trades !

Well that is all for Mtako's gibberish! Looks like ranging for the rest of the day? Lets see ! But in case not, my EOD guess looks as crazy as me, 1080.

Today EUR is the strongest of the major currencies (according to this site https://finviz.com/forex_performance.ashx) What I don't understand is WHY?

All the talk of a possible incursion with Russia should be a negative

EUR is no where NEAR raising rates like will happen in the USA in March.

Just doesn't make sense...

Interesting. US economy is doing better and much much better.

Fastest growth last year in the last 30 years or so.

In my amateur opinion on the matter, Ukraine situation not close to affecting anything more than it already has. If they go to war, that will change everything, but till then, facts will have the overwhelming effect.

It does scare me though, especially since I have close friends in that region and in both countries and surrounding countries. But that is another matter.

That pretty much sums it up . Ever since we started the current leg down, we had "corrections" of max 50 pips, whatever the definition of a correction is for different people. BUT, we are at a Daily Chart point where things could still happen a bit but i would just feel very uneasy having a long position in my bag. Mostly probably because my mind is just working way too slow for this short term trading .

To be fair, not much stronger, actually I would say not at all since it is so close, and day is not over. And relative to past days... Actually only one day is not enough for me to compare with big matters. But I share your thoughts on the matter anyhow, as it is preoccupying this possible war. I am baffled how such things can still even be considered here and now. And I also dont understand so much of everything surrounding how these affairs will affect or how it will. I don't know, but good to think and read everyones thought on it as I am really clueless about it all.

I'm not talking long-term just today. In fact if you click on that site now USD is stronger than EUR; so it does change as the day progresses. It just goes to show that there are subtle differences that I'm still "learning". For example another currency who did NOT raise rates this week - their currency dropped off the announcement as it was to be expected. What caught me offguard was 30 minutes later that same pair did an about face and climbed! WHY? Simple, that currency is more corralated with oil prices than rate hikes. Go figure.

I have a hypothesis about why the high flying currencies are being trounced but their is NOT the place to discuss lest I incur that rath of Ata.

As for EUR I highly doubt that they will be raising rates until July or August at the earliest. By that time USD will have had 2 hikes of 0.25% in March and in June (my opinion). Personally with elections in the USA this year I would be SHOCKED if there were more than 3 rate hikes and NONE after July/August as it could "interfere" with the election (based on past history). So by summer USA rates should be 0.75% to 0% in EUR.

Can anyone say parity?
