I have a question for the forum members.
What is the current global trend for EUR/USD, up or down?
Can we assume that the green support line did not work and the quotes will go down to the red line?

There is no right or wrong answer to this question.. Either side could have their own arguments to define the direction of global trend and I would respect.. My personal point of view looks at this drop as a BEARISH CORRECTION of a larger bullish trend.. Therefore, it could be answered as this:

  1. Current Global Trend is temporarily BEARISH, BUT it can be seen as a correction of the larger Global Bullish Trend!
  2. The fib 61.8/66.6 zone (yellow) is overall acting supportive and my thinking is that as soon as this long-term bearish correction is complete, direction might eventually turn back towards the global bullish trend!

Just my opinion.. I hope it helps..

First of all, it is very unlikely price gets to parity unless EU gets in a very deep shit as compared to the US.
Secondly, can you see any significant drivers for your assumption PA will drive price to as high as you've indicated, and in such a low amount of time? I don't.
Honestly, we can get to 1.08xx, and I sense this is pretty likely to be seen relatively shortly this year.
The rest is up to the crystal balls, all of which lie at times... take care!

Hi at early morning,

I also keep longs, but I'm zone 1.1340-45 I will look to switch for shorts again ( only if we go over 1.1367 then I will switch again for longs ) with target to zone 1.1275-85.

I suppose we'll still follow by small downtrend channel created on H1/H4 till we'll get some turning news from politics/economist ( FOMC/Potential conflict)

Thank you mate, you too ! I think 1340s could very well be the last stop before down continuation, as it has never been such a sustained resistance as these last days, and since this 2month long 1300s battle!

1276 is my level under which I can no longer buy more than scalps, and also where I have a another sell stop. Still have 3 shorts waiting patiently. Hope my intraday longs can grab a few last pips ! Bears have tremendous momentum, wouldnt be surprised if price continued its 7 day fall right away.

I think we will see fireworks at least once more before the end of the month!

Id be inclined to zoom out more and make note of the following;

Blue points as per declined trendline indicative of long term bearish trend while the red points as per rising trendline show medium term trend.
Current price near interin support on lower time frames and hence we can see the stoch sort of bottoming out looking for that impulsive leg higher on D1 but the RSI which moves slower still pointing downward ajd has plenty of room to the bottom still, ie sh monentum still intact.

Once one drops down to Lower TFs above scenario becomes a bit clearer when looking at price action and some of the technical patterns that are being formed on those lower tine frames to assist one for better entries.....
