...30:1 is standard in Europe since ESMA (European Securities & Markets Authority) regulation came in 2018. You can still get a higher leverage in Europe if you a professional trader / have professional account...

You're right, one need an account of 500,000, and I'm only missing a few EUR...

Testing the indicator on its own, without trailing stop or take profit. When opening a trade I only put the stop and let it run to follow the trend, a couple of days trying it like that, and positive results.

If the EA can be added to that... it can improve the results.

So far one operation has been lost with SL. Which would have been recovered in a coverage.

If I haven't said so, then I'll repeat: the nude indicator "BodySwitch" should be used for trending trading with appropriate rules. The entry, TP and SL belong to "SlidingHedge" idea.

If the "SlidingHedge EA" doesn't bring anything, I have to do something with the trend because of boredom.
With the existing EA, one should test what brings to trade only a few levels (3-5 maybe). I underestimated the problem with the leverage and margin, so I will research in this direction.

A quick solution would be: Capital 20,000, Risk 1% for Specified_Account=1,000, maximum 5 pairs at the same time.
That would burden the private capital with a maximum of approx. 25% margin so that the orders can be carried out.

You may think that the EA only has the option to open trades without the sofisticate trailing and hedging. OK, that would be a version for people who look at the screen from time to time.

I mentioned it again in post #287

...Have you tested the statistics module of the indicator? The number of over 60% wins should perhaps also be present in practice.
My first tests were with the sliding hedge, but one still needs to do some extra work to get the margin under control.
Now I have tested with a slightly improved version "smBodySwitch EA_V1.3"
if the theory can work in practice and it seems that it can work for some pairs. One would have to test and post here results for different pairs.

Note: (maximTrades=1) so that no reverse trades are started.

Here are two evaluations of win/loss trades, without hedging, with a risk of 1% based on ($1,000 AccountBalance) and on (fixed $1,000 capital).
The 60 win/40 loss ratio for EURUSD seems to be confirmed.

I also tried to start the Optimization, but for reasons unknown to me, it doesn't work.

I really like this equity curve!

Hopefully we will be able to replicate this in live trading!!!

Yesterday I had 4 wins (GBPUSD, AUDJPY, AUDUSD, NZDUSD) and 3 loses (GBPJPY, EURJPY, EURGBP).
Currently after 3rd day of trading this system (20 trades taken, manually with pending orders, no hedge,) I am at -2R.

I can not understand what you did.

- In this version of the EA he does not change background colors, maybe you had previously had the indicator in the chart, and the gray color has remained.

- I had EURUSD first in the chart, then I have USDCAD. The EA works. Did you click "Allow Live Trading"?

I did 2 tries.
First. I set up a template then apply this template to all 28 pairs (with AutoTrading button "Off"). When I allow autotrading all 28 EAs start to place the order but when the next pair placed an order the previous pair's order was deleted. I use F7 to reactivate the EA one chart at a time and the same result happens. Order of that pair was placed then cancelled when next pair placed the order.

Second. I apply EA one at a time to each pair. The same result.

So, the only order I have is the order of the chart that I activate the latest EA.

Screenshot when I apply EA to each chart one at a time attached. Strange that no panel info. shown. Setting is default setting. I have not changed anything.

A short video clip is attached to show you that the order was deleted when the EA on the new pair is activated.

I will not give StopOrders in the next version, because many pairs do not reach the Entries and end with Expiry at 22:00.

I will do that by program, because the reverse orders are also sent by program as MarketOrders.

I received a chart for Nasdaq in an email.

When one compares the BodySwitch indicator to an indicator from a professional program that "is a principle-based trading software which received Reader's Choice Awards from S&C magazine for more than 25 years in a row since 1997", there are not major differences...

Interesting, well done!

I must admit I am planning at some to test your indicator as a main signal for trend following system...
looking at the chart above it looks promising...
