If you see the picture, first chart is GBPJPYH1, #US30M1,#NIK225M5,EURUSDH4,EURUSDM1,#NIK225M1,#NAS100H1. So we have 8 charts on MT4 terminal, since there are multiple, EURUSD and NIK225 charts we see them multiple times. Many traders like to trade on charts and also want to control their gains/losses by using the great masterpiece.

Same old problem:- Too much market angry and DD kills the account. Anyone got any good ideas/techniques to resolve it. Not sure if hedging is the solution, it just makes more DD.

Hello 40PipsAlan,

you may hedge some "difficult" positions - so you will get some margin back - to avoid to be stopped out
And yes you need a strategy to close the hedged trades - it could happen that the remaining trades reach your basket target
So that the hedged ones will be closed too

This is the style I am trading (manuell & EAs) - but it was not necessary using Macd-rsi's EA so far, because I use larger values for O and D as well a conservative lotsize

You can restrict how much equity you want to trade. I use max 25% of my equity. If the position goes against much, I still have 75% equity to play with to recover from DD.
Cheers for the advice guys i will dig in some more. It seems the EA does well for a large part of the week, turn your back for 5 seconds and come back to multiple buy and sell trades on some assets effectively hedging each other I guess with no idea how to escape it apart from closing one of the directions for a loss.

I am guessing you are doing this with lot limiter.

and the most important factor, O, D safe', we said 34J at least

Mate zreboo I have tried many many different setups from OD15 right up to OD67 using BLSL and BSSS with differing auto ref points from daily up to monthly.
The setup starts off well until around day 4-5 when we have buy trades open along with sell trades on each asset. These trades appear to effectively hedge the asset and it becomes stuck until more trades open causing more DD and then MCP gets hit stopping the EA or max trades stops the EA.
I can appreciate this masterpiece of an EA coding but I am finding it difficult to maintain a steady weekly profit.
I am going to try some larger OD from next week and hopefully tame this beast. I am using a 5k demo mostly.

p.s Well impressed with the BTC weekend postings on this thread. If you can trade BTC then you can trade anything.
